You guys improved Wendy so much!!!! I used to NEVER use her but now I think she's my favorite. Abigail has gone from an unreliable resource to a priceless tool. I also love how you made Willow even more fire crazed. THANK YOU for being such awesome game creators!

am starting with wickerbottom, and liking it so far...early planks, cut stones, ropes, chest, and spear and not to mention the bird summoning booksaww yea! you guys are awesome!btw trees fell down with earth shaking effects now...awesome :applause:

Wendy, even Underpowered always was my favorite character. However, i never even got to winter, cause my sanity drained so fast on every character. Im really happy that they upgraded my favorite character to have less sanity drain. Also, maybe she hits weaker, but Abigail can kill tentacle for her. I've got tentacle spike on 7th day. Than you Klei for making Wendy such awesome character.

The penguins are actually leaping up from the depths of hell. Because they're evil.

I don't know if it's a bug or not but when i'm WX-78 and get the System Overload thing by thunder i have pools and wormhole sprites and other things flashing behind me.Edit: The System Overload sound won't stop after turning back to normal.

Quick query from someone whos been delaying cave diving until the caves are finished: I go into the caves. I thoroughly explore them. An update comes out. Now, do the changes apply to that cave or do I have to start a new world for them to take effect? So like take this update for example, do monkey barrels appear on old cave maps?I like the world I'm in right now and the camp I've built up so naturally I want to spend abit longer in it.Oh and also, do I have to worry about a deerclops ****ing up my camp on the surface while I'm down there?

Actually yes, but it was inside the wooden one. I killed it as soon as it spawned so I wasn't able to verify if it was able to spawn eyes.It was a world I started yesterday before the update, would that make any effect? Should I just start a new one?

Ok, that's just because some of our tile sets take up slightly more than one tile in space.

[MENTION=40250]luca101[/MENTION],Steam or stand alone?Steam, right click game > properties > verify game filesStand alone, go to the 'updater' folder and into the 17 folder. Run updater. This creates a new '18' folder. Run THAT updater and you'll be updated to the latest version of DS.

They give you the option to regenerate only the cave map while leaving the surface world intact for that exact purpose. And how often does the deerclops even spawn I've seen it maybe four times in the last year. But no, it won't screw you over when you're not there to do anything about it.

Ah ok, thanks.The last and only time I encountered it I was entirely unprepared. What unfolded involved at least twenty beefalo on heat, ten hounds, a massive fire and an extremely pissed off looking deerclops.On the brightside; there was an incredible amount of cooked meat left over. Unfortunately one of the hounds must of eaten the eye. Bastards.

Yeah I like that the Deerclops always seems to show up at the worst times, makes it a lot more fun and acceptable that it's rare.

Try entering and exiting a cave. I did and never got the bug again
