I'm a bit worried - I let the updater run and it appears that it borked my install completely. Here is the error message I get.

post-60310-13764596445999_thumb.png

I've rebooted several times, and tried everything I can think of to fix it to no avail.

Help? :grumpy:

System specs are as follows:

Dell XPS L702X laptop:

Intel i7-2670QM Quad Core @ 2.2Ghz (3.1Ghz Turbo Boost)

16GB DDR3 1600Mhz

256GB Samsung 840PRO SSD

Nvidia GeForce 555M Graphics (3GB discrete)

Intel HD3000 Integrated Graphics (Optimus switching)

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1 (all updates through today)

I've also attached a CPU-Z system dump text file here for the advanced system specs if needed. The notebook I am using has 2 graphics cards, integrated and discrete, and I cannot get it to load with either adapter.

Let me know if I missed anything. Thank you in advance for your time! I'm missing my game already! (Day 387ish maybe?)

Michael

***Edit - oops, shame on me for not paying attention. I should have posted this in the bug tracker! My apologies...

If you've been playing with mods you installed you may need download a mod version that is updated for this release. When I tried to play initially my executable would not run but when I deleted my mods and downloaded updated mods everything was fine. I was starting over with all new characters anyways. Oh, I'm on STEAM.

That, of course, was my first thought as well but even after installing my backup version which contains no altered files it still crashes on start up. This is on stand alone, of course. Steam version works perfectly.

Lureplants shouldn't spawn on wooden floors. Was it near the edge of the wooden floor?

Actually yes, but it was inside the wooden one. I killed it as soon as it spawned so I wasn't able to verify if it was able to spawn eyes.It was a world I started yesterday before the update, would that make any effect? Should I just start a new one?
