He better be overpowered as hell after what it took to unlock him. I want him shooting fireballs from his ******* and insta-killing **** with his dangalang. -.-

He should not be overpowered, even if it takes a lot to unlock him. And that's just disturbing...

My amulets durability would appear to be in disagreement. It dogmatically insists the contrary to what you just said by degrading further and further.I should point out I'm playing as Maxwell with a meat effigy.

Hmm. I'll check it out.

WX Sounds of overcharge lasts forever after first lightning hits you, something is causing more and more lag, at day update got to x4, changing sanity states also is part causing lag. After just quitting to menu and loading game lag is gone.Went from day 4 to day 9, no rain and lightnings and no signs of lags.

Still no update here aswell, its 7-2 windows and all cool u.u''is that because I am from Brazil or something like thatjust realized that on my steam it says there is no new update for Dont Starve... X_X

We now have a robot who can eat 15 cogs to become an unparalleled juggernaut of destruction. Oh and he can eat anything without ill effect and lightning heals him, speeds him up and gives him a bright glow.Considering we now have "Mecha-Thor" available as a character I'm not sure you should be worrying over whether Maxwells upgrade will make him over-powered.

He also has worse stats than Wes at the start and needs to go through multiple worlds to fully upgrade himself.

I've had 15 cogs in one world before and have survived with several meat effigies in place to give me a health not far from zero so don't give me that crap. We both know it just takes planning and caution to get over that relatively low hurdle. The fundamental difference is that for only one character is that disadvantage entirely temporary and only one character can become practically invincible as of the update. I'm not saying it should be reverted but lets not be bull****ters here. WX is the most powerful character now.

He's a pretty boring character after you fully upgrade him. He has nothing else unique and fun aside from the lightning charge which does not happen all the time. I'd rather play as someone else at that point.

eating monster meat still hurts him

I like Woodie and Wickerbottom because they can do things no one else can.

I like how Wendy is now like a dedicated pet class (though the fact that she takes 2 wacks with a axe to kill a rabbit is sorta annoying, but worth it i think). Does anyone know how to tell when Abi is ready to come back? Also does it matter what you kill to bring her back? Can i save a rabbit in my inventory to summon her when she's ready or does it have to be a bigger monster like a spider or pigman or something? Does the murder command work to summon?

Being immune to the negatives of off food, swallowing lightning as a power-up and the ability to upgrade yourself to the point where you can stand toe-to-toe with the toughest of enemies with ease, some people might consider this more than a slight novelty. Anyway, my only point was that from now on no-one really gets to sing the tune of "don't make that character overpowered" after this. I can't imagine a character more overpowered without breaking the game and thats the truth.

I would sort of agree with this. Not to mention that Klei has already said that they aren't balancing the characters AGAINST each other. They said that they want each character to have a unique play style so of course some will be better or worse or easier or harder. Thats kind of the point.

Day 10, found teleportato base, killed everything there with spear and logsuit, now WX has 260 health, 200 sanity, 130 hunger. Nothing can kill me now. He starts low, but that upgrades ate too much, after you upgrade a little there is no drawback. Lightnings heals you and rain dmg is very low. Maybe he should have low sanity, not upgradable to balance him a little. Its day 10 and I have most of the world explored.

1. Her flower begins to levitate.2. A rabbit is enough.3. I believe you actually have to place the animal, you want to kill, on the ground next to Abigail's flower for summoning to work.
