Considering that it's almost impossible to get Klei merchandise in my country, should I be upset that we were given the opportunity to buy at least skins? In fact, I would gladly buy a cast iron mold even without a skin, but unfortunately, this is not possible

when they make them available, I think it will excite everyone excessively (The real Return of Them, lol). But afraid to imagine the reaction of those people who put them up for grotesquely high prices

The merch costs 218RMB in China, and 95% of buyers are only after the skin, which is easily worth at least 178RMB. People spent 218RMB to support you by buying Wilson and Maxwell, happily redeemed the codes to use the skins, and then you officially sold the same skins in the store for just 18RMB at an absurdly low price.

on a fair note, klei should specify that skins will make a return after a year or two so player wont be force to buy because of FOMO

The catcoonalyzer is so bad and im so jealous of the other WX figure that has the amazing bundling wrap skin. I did get the YouTooz WX figure anyways because its a insanely good figure of them.

I bought my Maxwell YoutoozI wanted the figure, the skin is also cool though. The skin is just an added bonus on top of having a little Maxwell in my home.

While I disagree with amount of anger in this post … I will say there is some truth to certain generation of sales with digital items. 
 

the iron cast cooker skin for example … it is literally advertised that you can ONLY obtain it that way, and only in very limited time frame and quantity. 
 

will I not bake gingerbread? Of course I will. But, would there be no digital skin? I very very likely won’t have bought it for that alone.

The skins are just nice extras for getting the merchandise; you like the game so much you also want to get merch from it and that merch just happens to come with in-game cosmetic content as a bonus

If you only bought them that's most likely a case of self-inflicted FOMO for them, which admittedly I myself did for the Youtooz figures

With how the Youtooz figures had a very short availability run compared to other merch, it's okay for others to have a chance to get the skins
