Here's how to play the Winter's Feast Carol. Without any chords or stuff though. The position of the lever doesn't matter as it all fits within one octave.

1x1xx1x6xx8x9x8x6x6xx (break for readability)
6x11xx11x6x8x9x8x

You know, while I just did this for fun, I find it very interesting how this small snippet fits exactly within the limit of how many notes and spacings are allowed to be recorded max. (20 beats) Of course nothing happens when it's played, but maybe something would happen if the chords or bass or something was included, since as mentioned, we can have multiple notes play on the same beat across two octaves.

I am guessing the lines by 4 and 3 have to do with the lever position. At "4" the lever must be up, and at "3" it must be down, no?

Uhhh, I don't know. The lever shifts the notes up or down an octave, so I would assume the solution to the music door is to recreate a tune on it. There is nothing saying the answer can't be a series of inputs that don't play a tidy tune though.

here's my current notes rn,image.png.10587466a1c6c623617846405de583f6.png

it seems the 2 leads are 643 and the gramophone, but i swear ive done every possible combo of 643/

EDIT: There's also the whistling, but that suffers the same issue as 643; just not alot of notes compared to the 20 you can have

Well, technically, you have 20 beats in a 4/4 time signature. You can play multiple notes on those beats by clicking different keys before hitting the red button. I think the three bells on the door is a hint that the solution sometimes requires no more than 3 notes to be played on the same beat.

Updated to the potions step. Bells have not been solved to my knowledge as of writing. Not 100% guaranteed to contain all steps rn. If its missing a step pls see the previous posts or the klei discord.

I'm pretty sure the musical notes range from C to B, not G to F#, assuming you're starting with the one that does one click of the rotary dial like a phone. Not only because I checked it against the actual pitch of a piano, but also because the white and black dots match the white and black keys of a piano. So it's like in this post:

you need to solve the rotary piano lock as of now

Let me just say that i have zero musical knowledge so my terminology is probably not correct.

Ok, so, here's what I've gathered so far from this puzzle:

-  Each circle on the rotary dial seems to have its own pitch of the sound, which the bells will make

- The big lever on the right changes the octave of the bells, it can be used freely while inputting the sounds; the output will take into account the position of the lever when the input was made, not when the output is being played

- Small levers move the silver ring up and down the coil

- Red button moves the brown ring up the coil

- Between each move of the brown ring we can register a sound, by using the rotary dial

- Once the brown ring reaches the silver ring, the bells will chime, according to the circles input on the rotary dial and the lever on the right

He has one?

Yes. It plays during Celestial Champion's fight and during the Moonstorms. However, it's incredibly hard to hear it during the Moonstorms since those completely drown out the sound 😛
