Whenever you unlock the cricket and the mortar, these are the ingredients you need. Drag them all into the mortar, then use the pestle to mash them up. Note that you need to drag the spoon to the sap bucket first to fill it with sap, then drag the full spoon to the mortar.

I've made a diagram over the different functions of the phone panel.

You can flip the lever up and down, you can press the dots on the rotary dial, you can press the red button to make a small copper marker climb the meter on the left, and you can use the small levers to make a silver marker move up and down.

Sometimes the red button also makes the bells chime, but I have yet to understand how that works.

If the copper marker reaches the the silver marker the bell sequence will play, each time you press the red button you are "selecting" a slot on the right and if you press a white or black button you assign that note to play on that slot

Im a bit stumped on the potion thing. I was checking for each items value in his little notebook

On the last page of the notebook there is an IV drip with a list of requirements. The symbols show that the IV solution must contain between 8 and 10 "square", between 9 and 10 "triangle", at least 12 "spiral", at least 3 "circle", less than 3 "skull", and less than 8 "pathogen"

Each page of the notebook shows an ingredient, and how much of the different symbols they contain. For example, the chanterelle on page 1 contains 1 square, 2 triangles, 2 spirals, and 3 pathogens. And the bucket of sap on the last page is shown to remove 5 pathogens.

So, supposing that the puzzle which the notebook is for requires us to create the IV solution from the ingredients provided, Popian has already done the math and put together the correct ingredient list.

  Reveal hidden contents

Morel+Blushing Amanita(?): +3 square +4 triangle +6 spiral +5 pathogen +3 skull?
Grasshopper: +3 square +5 triangle +1 spiral +4 pathogen +2 circle
[Rubus(?) berry]: +4 square +5 spiral +1 circle
Sap: -5 pathogen

10 square 9 triangle 12 spiral 3 circle 3 skull? 4 pathogen

The current goal of the mortar panel is, as it seems, to find 5 viable potions which fit the requirements of the IV drip at the end of RW's notebook.

Three potions have been found sof ar:
