Harmonic Riftwear

I'm sorry if this is obvious or if this was unintential, but did anybody else get the Harmonic Riftwear loyalty item? I can't seem to find it in my curio cabinet, even though it's in my steam inventory. If this was meant to be released later, sorry to spoil the surprise.

You can wear this it's not skin for item

It’s a crossover skin for their new game Rift of the necrodancer, which looks like some funky version of Guitar Hero, I’m not a fan of those Rhythm based games, but it does seem to have good original music tracks.

I think the last Two Rhythm games I actually was deeply into was the original Parappa the Rappa on PlayStation 1, And: Frequency (Guitar Hero & Rock Band before either of them were ever a conceived thought)

Yes I’m really that old… but now, come to think of it I’d absolutely love to play a modern day remake of Both those games.

Klei if your looking for concept ideas for future Rift of the Necrodancer DLC or updates please dig up an old PlayStation 1 and play Frequency, this game was so so unique for its time, you had to flip through a color spectrum tube and hit each music inote on the correct track of its tube.

By description alone you’re probably lost and confused, but it was like playing Guitar Hero through the lens of a Kaleidoscope. <3

Anyway.. the accompanying Crossover Jacket looks Quite nice can’t wait to put it on Woodie. :)

It's a nice piece of clothing. One thing that's bothering me is that it looks too small when in-game. Like, look at the sleeves that barely pass the elbow! Also the hem is a bit high.

The ratio seems a bit off when using the harmonic riftwear as a body skin. Look at Wilson and Wendy as 2 typical characters:

It could even leave a blank space when the characters perform animation.

It's supposed to be a long-sleeved hooded top I believe.

Yeah it's a bit weird. Depending on which art you're looking at for Cadence the jacket's length is either normal or a bit short, but the sleeves always clearly go past her elbows.

Maybe they're exaggerating the proportions on purpose. The sleeves are a bit short, even if they do go past the elbows.

it is aesthetics. the way the rigging is on the dst models would mean there is this balloon at the end of the elbow OR there is just a jutting elbow OR a bare gap of nothing. the first looks bad because of overlapping, the second looks bad because of potential bleed and clipping, the last looks bad because during the squash/stretch movements the arm disconnects from itself. having the sleeves end on the upper arm solves this by only having a small place of overlap to worry about instead of a large one. it is practical and minimises issues

Oh yeah that makes sense. I forgot about the way these silly little guys are animated.
