Uh i don't really understand what it means. Can someone explain?

Some small skills could be merged together and the "get x of these skills" restrictions could be lowered to give you more freedom with your builds. The prerequisites for soul pierce/bastion might be helpful in some contexts but if I could skip them I would not think a second. However that'd qualify for the "too freeform" tree is what I'm assuming, so I'd expect them to at most lower the lock on decoy/bastion/tp heart/pierce by 1 and merge the prerequisites of bastion and pierce netting you +1 point if you were gonna take them.

I've made big posts about this, and it gets touched on a lot. Summary: the pressure of the inclinations + locks + affinity skill mean that there's not a lot of variety in effective builds.

Yup, this would be the motivator. I never brought it up until now but I do hate how tight the restrictions are.

  • What’s next for Walter?
    • Now that ranged combat is in a decent place, we will focus on expanding other parts of the skill tree.  Some things we may be looking at:
      • QoL improvements.
      • More utility for Woby.
      • Scout/camping related skills.
      • Sanity management.

IM SO EXCITED BUT ALSO IMPATIENT FOR THIS, i hope you guys nail it for then but for now i have my expectations really high! he finally is gonna get more skills and i hope they condense the ammo perks (*´ω`*)

I wonder if there's a chance for Klei to make the alignment elixirs drinkable by players for a 10% damage buff/resistance against the opposite alignment?

Also, could you guys please add a small light around Wendy's revival item, it'd odd seeing a candle not producing any light.

Yeah, those seem pretty natural and intuitive.

Pretty concerned still that Shadow Abigail does insane amounts of damage especially when combined with the beefalo Wendy bug and that this is not being addressed, but instead just is getting buffed.  Doing this high damage as a character with so many other advantages is not reasonable at all.  It feels really bad to play other characters that have their entire character focused around damage and then also just have a Wendy in the world outdoing you while having a pile of other perks and an AOE follower.  I advocated for exchanging damage total for planar damage to help smoothen her strength early game and weakness late game, but it seems we again just buffed the already ridiculously powerful form.

Am I missing a damage adjustment or something for her that wasn't noted in the patch noted or did she really just get planar damage with no damage reduction?

Hi, I'm glad to see the hotfix released so quickly—sooner than I expected!

What's your expectation? JoeW said "there will be a hotfix tomorrow" yesterday. And it's 19:00 for Pacific Time now.

I don't want to be offensive, but why do you think it's "quick" and how could it "sooner than you expected ". Don't you watch the post of Klei?

If you are satisfied with the update, just applaud for update, that's fine. But they just released it at the deadline of the scheduled time.

I think shes gotten enough I wouldnt mind beefalo strats being nerfed, but I dont know thr exact numbers. Cure All could probably be toned back a little too so the planar entity protection doesnt get too powerful.

It was a conversion. One to the other. So it's only noticeable against planar things.

Hi, this dress looks so good, how did you get it? Is it a character's skin?

If we are attached to keeping the beefalo bug because it is a part of Wendy's design at this point or some other convoluted reason then it needs to be taken into account when balancing the character.  Doing more damage than characters that spend their entire power budget and skill tree on single target damage actually feels terrible.

Shadow Abigail either needs a damage reduction or the beefalo thing needs to be fixed.

这是一次转变。一个到另一个。所以它只对平面物体明显。

Thanks a lot for what you have done to make the tree better. I have a suggestion, would it be more reasonable to lower the Hidden Mode's HP value to 100,  15% of abi's HP? since now that Abi has the Player tag, it means she can take more damage.

This is exactly what I was concerned about, yes.  Shadow Abigail was way too strong early game and a bit weak late game, and instead of adjusting both sides of the scale, we just made her late game strong now too.

Adding planar damage would have made sense if it was paired with an overall damage reduction to weaken her early game.  For example, instead of converting X normal damage to X planar damage, convert X normal damage to X/2 planar damage.  Shadow Abigail's damage is overturned and really needed an adjustment to accompany the planar damage addition.

The amount of points available, the locks, and the inclinations combined are restricting too much for tree selections by a small margin and it is hoped that it can be relaxed some to let some selections trickle around.

Anyone can tell if knabsack can be used as bug net for any character?

It has not been modified for this hotfix it is under consideration for a future one.

Would this use of the Knapsack be character-specific to Wortox, or allowed to others like sewing tape? (essentially better sewing kit)
In this case I am not including its use as a weapon or as a tool for picking up items.
