hmmm, new cave bioms? because as it is cave bioms are...kinda boring for the most part? like it dont feel very interesting to move to the place, what most people are goin to do is try find the ruins and the lunar grotto and thats it, the rest of the caves may not exist for them

Wait, I might be misremembering, but wasn't there a datamined lunar/shadow clone thing for the rifts? Maybe that's been repurposed into this update, and is what duplicity is referring to? I'll try to find it.

We've already been specifically told its not QOL, but yes, the use of "duplicity" implies that it'll progress the status quo in some way.

 

Can't find anything on the datamined clones things, would appreciate if anyone else could verify it :/

I believe you're referring to the "brightmare_alterego," which is an unused lunar thing.

Thank you so much, that's exactly what I was thinking of. Also makes sense why I couldn't find it - I was looking for it around taking root / host of horrors timeframe, not all the way back at ROT.

I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that the concept gets reused this update as part of shadow rifts.

this is murder, the 22nd is also  the day when core keeper is letting people play their game for free so they can celebrate coming out of beta x_____x also right now cult of the lamb is doing a twitch drop

Nice, I don't know if this is also going to be a rift update too but, I hope we get some more content there.The void set feels really lackluster compared to brightshade's, and even compared to Warbis which is mostly situational.

I also always wondered why theres a closed portal in archives, maybe something could happen there? :wilson_lightbulb:
