Anyone got ideas for more gadgets?

So the Winona's latest skillset introduces gadgets(remote, portasol, WINbot), which are the items that can be charged when dropped in the range of a generator.

However, as you know, there're only 3, 2 of them being in the Wagstaff's part of the tree. I know it's not likely we'll get any big additions at this point, but nethertheless, what are some gadgets you think could be added to Winona?(basekit, neutral side of the tree, Charlie's side,Wagstaff again).

I feel like WINbots already fill the item collection niche, though my only other idea rn is an automated whirly fan(think of those small fans on batteries you can see in summer), so. The more ideas the merrier.

huh, could be nice. As a regular machine, it would conflict with the generators, breaking them, but as a gadget that can be charged and used independently, it could work.

Earth bending style. I think some instantly deployable walls could fit the engineer vibes Winona has, though with how walls in this game work it'd need some tuning to be beneficial. Maybe if they were temporary, but immune to catapults? idk.

Seriously how does no one in the constant make a gun? There's even gunpowder and nitrate. I'm sure they could use the scraps to make a makeshift pipegun atleast.

Expanding on the vacuum bit, it could have a similar strafe mechanic similar to willows lunar fire to quickly collect items in a area, but could also have a alternate function as a sort of pneumatic cannon. (suck cannon like ratchet and clank or the junk jet from fallout)

   

suck stuff in, or even small mobs and shoot them out as projectiles. spiders or splemonkeys being too big, getting stuck and then rocketed off turning the mob or spider into a bowling ball with its kin being the pins. (possible down side of recalibration required as a result of overloading the device)

nicest thing at the moment would be a unique storage for the holographic items that winnona collects or a storage container similar to a tool box. trying to move all your structures all at once is one heck of a task and those darn pieces take up so much space.

oooh, the vacuum cannon is seeming like it could have multipurpose functionality too, gem imbuements, water balloons as ammo so many options. (tempted to go into modding now)

soooo true.

I don't get why we can't just store them normally.

Is sad that she didnt get any new tool in early so, for new players, she is still wilson with catapults

She could somekind of multitool like a discounted ruins pickaxe that is also hammer (without the perk of breaking dreadstone and pure brillance)

A chainsaw to cut trees made of hound teeth

A toolbox (even better now that she was many new ingredients plus the controller)

They could have made a "mechanical beef" kinda like a steam punk car that needs fuel to move (instead of glasses that creates magical bridges  wtf) just so she has an alternative for beefalos. Like woby but consumes wood/whatever instead of monster meat 

Something like the pewmatic from wheeler

 

She is that kind of character that opens a lot of possibilities but instead they filled the tree with stat boost

Not really original, but I can see Winona upgrading the Warbis armor, both because it fits with her neutral stance alignment wise and fits with her mechanical heavy playstyle. Imagine something like how the Warbis can auto speed up catapults on her target that she is actively targeting as well as focus firing them, making it a side grade from doing it her self while allowing her to fight. I could also see something being done with the Restrained Static and Spark Arks.

I like the idea of Winona being able to tweak and optimize existing tech, but in a temporary way. It can contribute to her "staying power" among a group of players, without feeling forced, like requiring her to operate teleporters (is that still a thing only she can use?)

Signature Red Tool Box- Used as a storage container to hold Winona’s kit items like electronic scrap or other resources she needs to build with, and as a funny “Workers Perk” store up to 3 Froggle Burnwhich Sandwhiches inside.

Signature Red Tool Box 2- Upgraded variant that now lets her pull out a comically large wrench or her blow torch and mask we see her use in her animated short that can be used to “fix” damaged or burned away structures.

Plumbers Tape Upgrade- I just really think her trusty duct tape should be able to repair more stuff “Plumbers Tape fixes everything!”

There’s a very old scraped concept art of some weird little Electronical Spiders, that would’ve been a fun team synergy perk where she could create electronic Spiders for Webber if he handed her a resource (like a Mysterious Switcher Doodle cookie he couldn’t use without her)

Charlie/Shadow Magic Stuff- Oh man where do I even start with this one? Winona has a skin set that very very closely turns her into Charlie, and if Charlie is never ever ever going to be a playable character in the game, Winona getting her skills are the next best thing.

But what exactly are Charlie’s Perks? Well in animated shorts we see Charlie able to change the “stance” of things in the game, such as Flower to Evil Flower and back to Flower etc.. I think stuff like that would be totally fun to experiment with in DST There are a lot of things in the game that the players Sanity levels or a specific event will Alter the appearance of (Bunnymen to BeardOverlord etc) letting Winona who shares the same bloodline as Charlie have this is the only character in the game besides getting Charlie herself as playable, that I’d want perks like this for.

Its not exactly a “Gadget” but it is defiantly tied to Winona… So I think it’s acceptable to add to the list.

Not really gadgets but maybe we could get the Widget Deflubber to like tune up structures and make them work better or faster for a limited amount of time. Or the Conceptual Scrubber to remove gems from gemerators. Also please we need a toolbox so bad it could hold scrap, wires, gears, picked up winona constructs, the wagstaff tools and doohickeys, doodads
