50%

Guaranteeing LE from AG would help too.

We have treasure chests though i dislike having a 50% chance of something so vital not being there

Set pieces in general could be more common to make the world more interesting.

That is a randomly used biome, selecting 5 out of 10 non essential biomes to generate the world. Except for oasis desert, the content of all biomes in the continent in DST is the same as that in single player games. They have never changed for multiplayer games.

In fact, there is indeed a set containing three mactusks, but unfortunately it was not used in DST. If only Cole could reuse it.

By now KLei probably should've added the "MacTusk Village" set-piece to WorldGen rotation as well. Alongside others like "Pig Fortress", "Maxwell’s Swamp", "Winter/Summer Icebox Trap" and more - they bring a certain liveliness, sense of wonder and interesting discovery to the map. Fine variation. With these the Survival aspect of DST would also be a bit amped up. And, certainly, the utility side too.

Would prefer if it was a toggle since they're an unremovable resource. I have a 2.5k day world where I live next to a triple Mactusk biome and it's the 2nd most obnoxious thing to deal with, 1st place going to quad moose nests. Speaking off, can there be a way to remove goose nests? Make a new one spawn elsewhere in the world, I'm so sick of having to spend the first day of spring waiting on houndius to kill 2-4 geese every spring.

You should be able to craft an eviction notice that you can leave at camps & nests.

I'm with the same problem, but thankfully it is near a cave entrance, a pond, some beehives and two tall birds, so those things just go around killing each other.

This might seem overkill but i want setpieces to be 4x more common, aswell as new ones. I feel like the developer graveyard should be guarinteed in any branch since it is like credits.

Also it would be cool for the original mactusk camp to be replaced with this. Though maybe make the Mactusks come out at different times so it is not dumb and unfair, maybe one mactusk comes out at day, one at dusk and one at night? Maybe add a fire pit or something at it along with a few other things, the camps always felt so naked.

The possibility of quickly acquiring 3 Mactusks' drops is worthy of the challenge that 3 Mactusks pose. If you think it's too hard, just bring an ice staff or pan flute and stun them. You've had at least 3 hours to prepare for them before they spawned, so getting a single blue gem or finding the deciduous should be no problem at all.

Them spawning at different times would make the setpiece extremely annoying. Just sitting around AFKing next to them for 8 minutes waiting for all of them to spawn.

You can stand next to a mactusk when it is sleeping to easily make it come out it's house, just like as usual when you go to a mactusk during dusk or night.

Fighting 3 macs at once who can stun you at a distance at high damage with 6 speeding ice hounds darting after you is really hard, that is way easier said than done and is not fun to deal with. It is a problem.

Just stun them. Then you don't have to deal with them.

You have 6 speeding fast attacking dogs dog pilling you and 3 ranged high damage mactusks attacking you all at the same time all at once. You will very likely be stun locked or close to it and die really fast before you even stun one. The hounds prevent you from coming near the mactusks. Those moments when you end up accidently fighting 2 mactusks who happen to wander near each other are already tough as nails. If we had to end up using panflutes for mactusks every time that would be pretty dumb, i feel like Mactusks are one of the toughest regular mobs in the game and they are nice when you meet one at a time.

Frost hounds have 100 health each you can kill them to lock the other ones

Frost hounds can't be frozen themselves, most the time mactusk is out the freeze radius due to being ranged and moving away from the player.

I've played Don't Starve and beaten the Mactusks easily, I know how they act. You seem to be basing the experience on your imagination of how you think it will go from seeing the picture.

I wish gnarwail horns were closer to guaranteed from treasure chests.
