HawtDawg Posted July 29, 2023 Share Posted July 29, 2023 I arrive once again, I really love hearing your guy's opinions on skins/what skin ideas you'd love to see so now I'm going to turn it over to the new skins we just got because they're hella cool and are related to the ruins / caves in general with wormwood which is something we surprisingly haven't seen yet. So simple questions 1) What is your opinion on the 3 new skins for Woodie, Wolfgang, and Wormwood 2) What other characters would you like to see with the Ancient Collection and what ideas do you think would be cool for them PERSONALLY... Not entirely big on Wormwood as he seems out of place regarding the Thulecite theming but his bloom is very cute. No real strong feelings on the other two, I think both of their haircuts are doofy looking. I will, however, be taking the Thulecite cuffs, they're cute. 2: As with the other collections I do expect everyone to eventually be filled out. As for who I want first? Willow. (I'm not biased I swear.) Aaughh give me an Ancient themed Dress please!! I'm in the opposite side, I always thought that it was fun seeing characters getting interpreted under a theme and felt weird when there are unique theme sets for only one survivor - like Wortox's minotaur. Maybe it is because the other two are thulecite themed and Wormwood can't side with shadows so his skin is an ancient lunar thing? I dunno. As for the other two, I love the style of their body items, although I wish that Wolfgang's was more like the splash art. His tunic thing is really tight around his waist in the splash art but really loose on the skin so it looks kinda odd. His shoulder guards are also a lot smaller in game than the artwork, so I wish that they were bigger. Would also be funny if wimpy Wolfgang had the big shoulder guards too, but I understand how they are now. I think the hair of the head skins are kinda... weird? I like the accessories though. The Archaic skins are themed after the Archives, not generically Thulecite! It's more apparent in the Belongings since they've got visible moon rock. I always had a specific liking for the lunar grotto biome for some reason and moon shrooms too, so seeing wormwood in that style is super cool. Wolfgang and Woodie one are alright, but their hair is just...very goofy. Everything else is nice tho! 2) I ain't gonna lie ever since they announced skill trees and then showed the Archaic skins i couldn't stop thinking about Wonkey getting both of these. I love that little fella so much i just can't. Imagine if they gave him a splumonkey skin... maybe even a shadow splumonkey!! I would love to take a look at what they would cook for them.
