NEW FW QUOTES

Recommended Posts

If you fully repair the Ancient Gateway, you get new quotes!

STALKER_ATRIUM_BATTLECRY_ATRIUM_REPAIRED =
    {
        "You fools! What have you done?",
        "You've doomed yourselves.",
        "I tried to stop it... it seems I learned nothing...",
    },

STALKER_ATRIUM_PLAYER_BATTLECRY_ATRIUM_REPAIRED =
    {
        "This world is unraveling.",
        "You have brought about your own end.",
        "Please. Let me save you from what is coming.",
        "I recognize your arrogance. I possessed it myself...",
    },

STALKER_ATRIUM_USEGATE_ATRIUM_REPAIRED =
    {
        "Not again... not again...",
        "They are coming.",
    },

STALKER_ATRIUM_DEATHCRY_ATRIUM_REPAIRED =
    {
        "What have you done?",
        "You've doomed us all!",
        "I couldn't stop it...",
        "History will repeat itself...",
        "It will all come to pass again...",
    },

Not yet, these are still unimplemented. They were introduced in the files this patch.

"This world is unraveling."

I think Charlie need some spools.

Why does he say "I learned nothing" rather than "you learned nothing"? A bit weird isn't it?

Fuelweaver is the Ancient King/Staffwielder from the murals. The general lore is that he overused the shadow magic that ultimately doomed his civilization.

During his battle he tries to turn the gateway off... by using its shadow magic. His defeat ultimately allows Charlie to repair the gateway.

So I guess what he means is: "I was once again too depended on the fuel"

Or its something simpler like "I, once again, tried to stop something inevitable, like a fool"

So this hints the ancients may have been in some sort of civil war.

Those in the ruins and those in the archives, perhaps.

Although I think, the ancients built the archives later on after/during the collapse but I don't remember where I got this info from. Maybe just speculation that I heard somewhere.

I mean we do know the queen tried to stop it with some sort of "new power" (which may have come from the moon).

This could be the "history is repeating". A new civil war between the survivors.

It's the other way around.

Wicker's quote for the statues in the archives is that its from before the ancients discovered nightmare fuel.

But yes, the Torch the queen was using seems to be of lunar origin.
