nimzowitsch10 Posted April 8, 2023 Share Posted April 8, 2023 I was tinkering with my settings today and I noticed a "data collection" option. Since when was this a thing? I never even enabled this. Since klei a tencent owned game company I'm a bit worried on how my data is being used. I have read the privacy policy and they say they're collecting data for "security and safety" and other things but I never even knew this was an option that was enabled in my settings. When was this implemented? It appeared around the time GDPR (the new EU directive: https://gdpr-info.eu/) came into force (at some point in 2016).
