Shadow prison is 8 secs against bosses, I guess 11 secs was good enough.

I've never been happier. And I'm very optimistic about the last rework after seeing how the devs handled the player feedback during the beta.

I love how Maxwell plays now. He really feels like a character who almost has it all. Resource collection. Synergy with dark sword and knight armor. Shadow prison and shadow sneak being awesome as utility and most importantly the magicians hat giving you access to more storage. The shadow duelists are actually good now.

The only problem that such a great refresh creates for me is that it's now much harder to decide what character I want to play.

I stopped playing Wolfgang to be Maxwell.

He's just that good now.

The main rework I expected even before the reworks started, daydreaming about how the character I liked the most could be improved. And it didn’t disappoint! Maxwell is now a lot more fun and versatile, and as a cherry on top of the cake, a big chunk of lore was dropped with it.

Best rework so far.

They finally added an analogue of the root trunk (even if it's exclusive to only one character, I switch them often anyway), and shadows are now easy to control so that they don't destroy or attack the things you don't want them to. That's all I've ever asked for. And for the first time ever, it made Maxwell an actually desirable character for me. So I think they nailed it, even more than any other rework.

The best part to me is that I get to have the utility of having followers but they're actually competent, don't overstay their welcome, and aren't up my posterior everywhere I go.

The other spells are also fun mechanics to play with.

Maxwell plays like how I see him a shady manipulator with cheap tricks that's grown accustomed to abusing nightmare fuel.

I like it!

the new spells are pretty great and give Maxwell an interesting role in group fights, updated servants are a pleasure to use and updated duelists look cool (also they're good for fighting, I guess. but that's less important)
