Minor Bookstation Suggestion:

The book station was an item recently added in Wicker's rework, though I do have a minor suggestion for it!
Namely, its colors.
Klei recently showed off some concept art for it and one notably caught my attention, its linked below. 
This one grabbed my attention due it its darker richer colors, which I simply adore. Additionally it was also designed with the new Wooden Wall skins, too.
Having compared it to the current in-game book-station, I was thinking it might be able to borrow/share some of the colors of the bookshelf/concept art!

I feel the darker colors would help it blend into the environment a little more, but not in a way that its drowned out.
It would also support its new recipe that requires Living Logs instead of normal wood, which are far more darker in color.

Maybe I'm alone in this though? I'm curious how others feel. Personally I find the concept art one to be utterly gorgeous looking and would love something more akin to it. I think the changes are too subtle to suggest it be a skin though.

In the beta branch, I suggested that the bookcase should display the books on its shelves based on the amount of books in it's storage like how the Sisturn works, and I made a rendition of what it could look like. When the recipe was changed to living logs, I altered the tone of the wood to be darker and well, here it is again:

The changes are a bit subtle but I think it could be a cheap skin. One of the ones that cost 450 or 150, I forget the names. Or maybe an entirely new elegant skin with that darker wood tone.

As far as the standard unskinned one goes I'm fine with either. They both look good.

Something a friend and I were chatting about just last night was the bookshelf wall and placard skins. There was a missed opportunity not making them in multiple wood stained colors. Since it’s the only wood wall skin we have, it would have been nice to have different shades of it.

While we're at it, I'd love if they also added an empty bookcase wooden wall variation. I feel like the book filled ones fit such a small category in builds.

That looks gorgeous. You could also place them together in builds to make it look like you don't have enough books to fill all the shelves yet.
