I told him no and he burned the base down and blamed me. I don't have all of it recorded but here's a part of it. The immatureity of some of these people amaze me. hhh2 Posted July 4, 2022 Share Posted July 4, 2022 Sorry, OP, but Klei doesn't have the resources to ban everybody that griefs on their servers, nor is it even stated officially that griefing is an offence. If stuff like this really bothers you, join a community server with dedicated admins who will blacklist those types of people. Expect this behaviour on pubs, even if you yourself are hosting them. Griefing is just apart of DST, always has been, always will be. I think that's why the rollback feature was created. I personally dont see a reason for reporting someone for this as its a natural part of the game, but maybe I have too much of that survival of the fittest mindset.. If the game was named "Don't Starve Against Each Others", maybe I'd agree but this is still peculiarly disgusting assuming 99% of players are looking forward a cooperative experience when they play on public serv that aren't set for PvP, such as Klei servers. Don't Starve Together 2022-07-03 22-47-38.mp4 unfortunatly, there is nothing to do, you can try to make a base in the caves, or in lunar island, pearl's island, or in another biome, it is up to you to choose, but if you make a base in pig king, oasis, near portal or in the border of the map, most likely it will be griefed when a griefer find it, dont be sad about this, you can rebuild eveything in some minutes if you are willing to. Woods, rocks, golds, etc are renewable, the only problem for me now (and maybe for you in the future), is the scarcity of pig skin in endless servers, people usually harmer all pig houses (to relocate or just for free resources) so the only way to get more is putting a star caller in the moon altar to start the moon caller event (i forgor the name), anyway, i feel sorry for you, but this is your first time experiencing this, and it wont be the last, if you really dont want to deal with griefers, play in you own world or in an unnoficial klei server. btw, dont feed the trolls, if someone grief your base, act like you dont care, they do this because they want attention, i usually put an sign in the base with something like "here is the base, feel free to use or grief", also, i dont make a big base anymore, just the necessary, so if it gets griefed, i can easily build another somewhere else Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/141444-can-i-report-someone-for-griefing-on-a-klei-server/#findComment-1581988 Share on other sites More sharing options...

00petar00 Posted July 4, 2022 Share Posted July 4, 2022 @Iino You should probably stop playing on klei public servers unless you want to fight griefers regularly wtih rollbacks. When you go to sleep or leave the server for a number of hours, there's a good chance that it will be reset as anyone can just die on purpose if they are alone to start from day 1. My suggestion is to move to community servers that are not going to reset for thousands of days, they can deal with griefers or they have mods that stop griefing. For example Ownership or Myhome, if you type name of a mod in search bar, it will only show servers that have that mod on. Some community servers have password and you can only find it on their discord or you can join private server where only a number of people will play.
