    • [QoL] Merm king buff working both in caves and overworld
    • [QoL] Fix merms attacking other players after losing friendliness/kingstatus/fishmurder to avoid griefing and accidents
    • [New] Faster fishing salt and freshwater
    • [Balance] Wurt body temperature doesn't go as low when wet
    • I don't like any of the above options
    • Something else (comment below)

Dude what are you talking about? There's nothing wrong with how they're speaking. And a lot of people here speak English as a second lanugage, even if that isn't the case here you should still try to be respectful. 

As for Wurt, I think maybe changing fishing would be helpful. It's kind of a tedious task at times, I'm not a Wurt main but it'd be nice to see a character that could get more usage from the mechanic.

Saying something is 'weird and kinda cringe' have pretty negative and hurtful connotations. If you're not going to contribute to the topic and instead be disrespectful, maybe just don't saying anything? This is supposed to be about changes we'd like to see for Wurt.

I think Wurt needs more stuff to do with Merm, maybe she can teach Merm to do think like Farming and stuff, have jobs for merms and give merm more culture and traditions, Wurt should make the life of merm easier and better.

Me and others were surprised to see that Wurt mains were some of the more numerous mains on the original thread.

I had a lot of people respond, but most of them seemed happy with what Klei did in the QoL side-rework.

 

Without the recent changes to Wurt, I low key think this Wurt poll would've hit the 20 option limit.

Yea I can safely say I've spent the majority of my time playing Wurt tho I tend get caught up in the building aspect and more recently the fishing aspects of Wurt. Personally aside from the king shard situation I feel like the other things are things I want but are ultimately unnecessary but I do agree before this mini refresh I'd have had a football field worth of things I'd request as she was in a very broken state it's such a night and day difference that I'm not surprised people are completely satisfied heck even I feel kinda greedy asking for more.

I think they're talking about normal merms who don't respawn in winter.

yeah, but regular merms don't respawn at all during winter, which kidna discourages building regular merm huts, especially considering loyal guards are even better now(which is kinda sad because regular huts have cool looks, with and without a skin)

Keep in mind that other players can't use merm guards as followers so on a team it's still worthwhile to build normal merms for tasks and such.

Wurt is in a really good spot rn, but it would be cool to see some new buildings in the future 

so, here's my ideas for possible new items for Wurt:

 - Fishermerm hut

reasons: fishermerms already exist in shipwrecked, so i think it wouldn't be too weird for them to appear in dst in some form(though altered a lot, to be more useful). With dst having more complex fishing sistem and Wurt needing fish for trades, it would fit pretty great gameplay wise as well. i think fishermerms could passively catch and pick up 2(3 when king is alive) fish from nearby ponds in certain radius(something like a radius of flingomatic) and store it in their "inventory" till it dies(merms already store fish given to them, so wouldn't be too revolutionary). if players gives them food, they can give them fish in return(depending on the hunger value of food. something like 1 fish per 5-10 points of hunger a food item gives?)if they have any fish left in inventory. they wouldn't accept fish because they already can get it themselves (also gameplay reasons, wouldn't make sense getting fish for fish). 

bad mechanics time: they could probably be befriended by giving them fish bates to aid players in sea fishing? but that would be too complex imo, and probably too much work to get it work properly, so i don't think it's a good idea.

 - Artificial pond

(Doesn't really have to be Wurt exclusive item, just would be great in general).

A building which would act similarly to a pond, but wouldn't spawn frogs/mosquitos and would only have 3(or 5?) fish max. so players who would need freshwater fish (mostly Wurt and maybe Wormwood) would have to build more. 

now, the reason i think it would be a great addition to the game, is because currently we have to rely on world gen. to have a pond in a good location close to a place where we would base, and it is quite troubling for Players who want to farm/fish freshwater fish. 

it would make you able to build your own pond to fill your watering cans from, and it would be great for Wurt players who want to trade with merm king (also would synergise with fishermerms well).

I agree Wurt is in a great spot after the follower mechanic being updated for merms. Her strong grip actually being strong and I like being buddy buddy with frogs. 

The pond idea is great for other survivors I guess? It doesn't really benefit Wurt especially if it's just for fish since she has easy access to fish with Merm Wars and death of merm king. I guess making her better at fishing sea fish, but I think that's unnecessary. I've been a huge advocate for her not to be affected by low Temps when wet in spring since otherwise your better of staying dry and that mechanic is largely worthless unless your near the end of spring. 

King working upstairs and downstairs would be nice also but I'm also ok with it staying the way it is
