Do you Pig men get too much attention? they got their own DLC got 5 different subspecies and a whole character.

I think the mainland pig needs some love they barely have anything, only culture is being a warrior and being a werepigs, barely any tradition they only have pigs with tattoos and pigs being a guardian, or any Festival and Holiday except for pig king wrestling match.

Merm they got some love but like we know nothing about the culture, tradition, or the festival and holiday, they only get a playable character and a lore event that just reveal where are they from, I think Merm should expand a bit more because we know nothing about them now it's not about the past it's about the future of Merm culture and tradition.

Bunnymen got like nothing why are they here, who are they, why is there are a "normal" bunny but also a Bunnymen, they got nothing events species got more interesting thing than them even the Rock lobster they can't even speak yet are more interesting than them, please Klei, please give the Bunnymen anything like anything.

All I want to say is we know all of these fractions for so long yet nothing has changed about them, The pigman while getting the most attention does nothing with the mainland pig. The merm while getting the most lore and backstory we know nothing of the culture, tradition, festival, or Holiday now. The Bunnymen get nothing it's like Klei forgot about them, Klei do you still remember them? all I ask is they get something new, please.

Yeah, that's all I have to say for now I got a lot more to say, but I can't remember what, so just start discussing while I try to remember what I want to say.

I don't know what could be done with Merms and Bunnymans, probably the thing with the first is that they are as intended a... collapsed society or something of that sort so I guess we could understand their situation, we can be glad there's a character to make them evolve story wise which will probably go as far as we can interpret.

And the second probably that they are from the caves, which is mostly composed of old, untouched places that could use few tweaks in term of density and importance (for real the non-ruins caves is just made out of mushy things, grassy things, or rocky things, there's little to benefit from these areas while they are sooo big). The mobs from down here have just been ported and have been left as they are for the majority. I'd be massively surprised if there's anything planned to expand the features related to Bunnymans or Rock-Lobsters and their home, but I'd really welcome them.

(I should add that outside of that, the discussion is certainly not to discuss how strong they are because they do be great on that part, just what's left to them outside of being followers with 2-3 funny behaviours)

and don't have anything to compensate that.

What about Wurt and her smart and funny quote like "Make hurts feel better, flurp." or "Wear plant on head to learn about plant? Make sense, florp!"

Wurt is an exception, but she doesn't interest me much cus her quotes are just her being a kid with some added baby speak.

But with Wurt we now know that Merm have excellent smelling can breathe underwater have excellent instincts and also can be upgraded.

I think you should be able to barter with monkeys, give them junk and they give you junk, it might even be the junk you just gave them. It also gives a incentive to interact with them.

That only taught us how they came to be and where are they from.

Also maybe they just have great stamina they doesn't say the merms go underwater it just means that the merms are a great swimmer.

That really good idea it's like prime ape where you could hire them but Splumonkey gives you junk and stuff they found in the cave instead, and it also would probably be a really good way to make trinkets more renewable but I think the trading system should be like this the more it's harder to find the item splumonkey should give you more luxurious item, not game-breaking or anything maybe more hard to renew trinkets or some gems.

I think the merms need to let go of their past the merms need to be in the present and look into the future, not for the past glory but the new chapter in their story Wurt know this but Wickerbottom needs to teach her to look into the future and not be stuck in the past and just enjoy the present life by rebuilding merms kind she has just brought a new chapter to the merms not just as curse creature but as its own society.

I just think that the Bunnymen should be smarter they live in the cave next to an ancient ruin filled to the brim with knowledge at the very least they should be smart enough to study from the picture they are Bunny after all shown to be smart and clever in media also they live in the cave filled with nightmare fuel so they should at the very least know how to use it.

But you can just steal from the banana tree the reward is too easy the splumonkey are probably smarter than that they are probably interested in fashion shiny objects stuff that is hard to find in ruin and cave trinkets and food from far away land so the economy wouldn't have inflation higher than Venezuela.

MOAR BANANAS!!

Think of the crazy inflation rate that would have to the splumonkey trading economy.

Why do the three of you want Bananas to be splumonkey money, if a 1000 dollar bill grows out of trees every four days do you think it will have no ill effect on the economy?

Why are the merms so controversial I really want to know why does anyone has the answer?

It seems that I was right the Bunnymen needed a rework after all.

The way that I see it is that they need something to do with nightmare fuel and ancient history, I mean they live really close to the ruin you expect them to learn something from the ancient, like be the ancient spiritual successor or something they need clothes they look more like a monster than civilize creature they are the classic magician trick and they are really smart and clever so it would be perfect if they use nightmare fuel.

Or just goat people in general at least then we know that they survived and settle themselves here long ago and meet other goat people like them like Maxwell said time moves a little bit differently in the constant she could be here and died a long time ago but her descendant lives to tell the tale of their ancestor.

I think the new loot is to make us kill them less.

Year of the dragonfly? idk if there's anything else like a dragon. Tho by that time dst might have new dragon mobs

I thought year of the tiger would be like Year of the Tigershark, I'm not disappointed since I like kitcoons and the ability to ransack catcoon dens. But I wished we got Tigersharks back with Sharkkittens for a new source of hounds teeth as sharks shed their teeth a lot and would be a good renewable source for the teeth, AND a boss battle with the Tigershark could be so awesome in the ocean. Just imagine your on your way to lunar island and BAM a Tigershark is following you in the water, fin slowly rising out of the water as it launches itself out to attack!

And year of the dog could be year of the Pog, but they bring them a new form simular to when there's a blood moon, they get agressive during full moons and can become a tiny killing beast.

Year of the Dragon could have updates to the Dragonfly with you being able to make the Larva turn into a mini dragon you can ride on until it grows up simular to Tallbirds, or maybe you can duke it out with a tamed Dragonfly having epic battles with Deerclops.
