Would you survive the Constant

Recommended Posts

Id probably pick Wanda, since shes the one im most familiar with. First, Ill craft a Backstep watch and get backpack and log suit (for obvious reasons) then, stick closely with the team, since Wandas mechanics are maximised with other players, and get a second chance watch to instantly make me a valuable team player. Then, I would probably spend the first few days helping around just expanding the base. When Winter comes, I would still just follow the group, and if they go to caves i would do the archives and craft Alarming Clock and Rift Watches. Summer and Winter I would just survive

If I followed dst logic of crafting by spinning my hands, health being only a number and myself only having basically 4 needs- maybe a few days or whole autumn.

If it was realistic survival in the Constant- most likely not a day.

The way constant is designed is very similar to purgatory with no escape. If I would die I'd be resurrected to suffer more. Realistically with that anyone should be able to survive in the constant, it would just be brutal. And for this to be realistic, wounds would need time to heal and chugging pierogi will just give you a heart attack, cooking food takes actual effort and knowledge. Combat would be hard, unrewarding and dangerous. Sleep deprivation would be a issue and if you get sick you are dead.

Personally I don't have many skills applicable to a wilderness setting. Maybe I'm not a picky eater? Which is the bare minimum for the constant. Maybe I wouldn't need a science machine or alchemy but the things I make would have horrible quality. But I would be a emotional wreck if I were transported to the constant leaving behind family and friends ultimately for nothing.

All of that without asking the question what would happen if you get out? There is a way out it's just hidden behind 100000 deaths. Would I returned into the real world as if nothing happened? Would I age in the constant? Would time pass in the real world while I was in the constant? Honestly pretty scary to think about.
