This animated short leaves me with a ton of questions.. Wolfgang actually IS Mighty.. he is seen lifting several weights before attempting to lift a baby elephant (and be exposed as a fraud) but in actual gameplay Wolfgang can become this skinny, puny fragile Wimpy version of himself- which makes me wonder.. if the shadows/constant or whatever hasn’t changed his physical appearance based on how he perceives himself: Obviously being exposed as a fraud would make you FEEL Wimpy & Weak..

But why does the buff man with all that muscle & strength suddenly actually become “Wimpy”?

That got me to thinking about Maxwell Aka Willam Carters Lore: Him and Charlie are supposed to be the first ones pulled into the Constant, but he meets Wolfgang prior to this incident and grants him the gift of strength, before later being pulled into the constant during a MAGIC ACT gone wrong.

So: Is the way Maxwell was lured into the constant was with the promise of more mystical & magical feats?

So if Maxwell was first.. is a *now wimpy* Wolfgang sitting in the audience during his performance act and sees the now empty Hat after Maxwell and Charlie are pulled in, then later (after Wilson is kidnapped and thrown into the constant) Wolfgang finds the Magicians hat on sale in an old Antique store full of a bunch of old stuff like outdated library books no one reads anymore..  and Wimpy Wolfgang buys this Magic Hat before walking out into an Alley and being pulled into it *the hat then blows away in the wind* a woman with reading glasses can then be seen walking into the antique shop Where that hat had sit for an awful long time till Wolfgang purchased the hat of the Mystery Man who once granted him temporary feats of incredible strength to lift a train up off of him.

(least that’s my official head canon at the moment anyway)
