It's been like, a year or so since I've actually drawn DS sprites. Even went back to my roots and mouse drew some of these. Some stuff I'm putting together for Whimsy's mini-rework. Gem station is W.I.P!

There comes a time in every artists life where they just decide to draw edgy stuff and I think I'm gonna cave in for this thing. Been thinking about that potential Whimsy companion and the idea of a Ruins deer got to me.

Been a while since I posted.

Now that the latest DST update is out of beta I figured I'd make my own attempt at Charlie's design. You can find the mod to switch to it here as well.

Have you ever looked at Horror Hounds and Moonrock Pengulls and said "Gee, I sure wish they were more flesh-pale and bloodshot red!"? No? Well boy do I have bad news. I've gone and made the Horror Mobs to resemble their classic designs from the beta!
I'm seriously proud of how they came out.

Wrought Nights, my very small quaint mod that aims to faithfully recreate select critters from Don't Starve is now officially released! It's a very simple small mod designed to provide some more ambience to an otherwise desolate MC world.Currently included are 4 mobs and 1 (And a half?) item. Those being the Cookie Cutter, Moleworm, Mandrake, and Rabbit.

While these mobs were designed to be mostly ambient, they have minor mechanics to make them feel lively.
E.G Cookie Cutters will eat log blocks they fall on, Rabbits eat grass, Mandrakes will follow Bonemeal, etc.

In fact, the mod has done much better than other mods on dst, I don't understand why there are so few downloads:< ? I really like your mod.I wanted to make a similar mod myself, but so far I only had enough time to add savannah and dst beefalo to my other project

I'll see if I can.

I had to name it Wrought Nights because I wasn't allowed to use 'Don't Starve' or anything similar. It had to be a unique vague name for me to be able to upload, due to TOS.

I've seen at least 2 mods called don't starve, but yes I understand what you're talking about.

Been doing a lot of super cool secret stuff lately but that means I can't SHOW any of it. Yet. What I can show are a few trinkets I've been doing. Record and Jug aside, they're (mostly obvious) references. I've got more I want to do but I like how these came out.

Decided to go through and try making it functional. It works! A bit rough, and I've touched up the lil anim like 3 times now, but they're out there living their best lives now! Look at them, so happy.

Haven't posted in a hot while. 

I'm obsessed with these deer. 
Re-take on my old shadow faction deer, and did a Lunar based one, too. Moon-Deer, Moon-Deer, Moon-Deer... very gaudy.
I've also tried my hand at making a Possessed Varglet, since I love the Varg so much...

Got something super duper exciting to share today!

I wanted to try my hand at doing something custom again. This took about 4/5-ish hours for the art, and maybe around 3-4 for (all) of the animation work. I'm actually insanely proud of how this came out, I'm really happy with the results.
The full total coming out around 10, maybe 11 hours in one sitting. Not including its bubble attacks, which I'll show off at a later date.

The mob is pretty much just a direct recreation of the Crab from the Pikmin series, just with personalized veggie take on it, of course.
