Hornete Posted April 28, 2021 Share Posted April 28, 2021 I think it would be really neat if something similar to the old dusk quotes in DS were added for DST when the moon's eye pops up after the mysterious energy spawns, just fun little quotes of the characters questioning why the Moon has a giant eye now and the such. What do you think? I think it'd be pretty neat to see a group of players exclaim all at once the big eye on the moon, there could even be a neat little animation of the characters looking up! A good point my friend brought up is they'd get annoying especially in groups of people, Imagine everyone just at base and all the characters erupt suddenly with their dusk quote haha, every single day. Honestly that's one of the main reasons I suggested this lol, in the code the moonstorm is literally known in the code through the variable "isalterawake". Which pretty much confirms, the moon with the giant eye is Alter awakened, I find it kinda saddening this was confirmed through the code instead of like actually in-game. There has been lore stuff sprinkled in the code, stuff like charlie talking to Winona/Maxwell, but i'd rather something like the Moon entity being confirmed to be Alter be confirmed in-game rather than the code. It could totally be a red-herring for data-miners having the variable name as that and it turns out the moon entity isn't actually alter, Buttt I doubt that.
