Why Wx could be the best refreshed character

I feel like if WX is going to be the next refreshed character, it's going to be in a pair with the new "Eye of the Storm" update when it releases.

Since Wagstaff is found in the moon storms as his out-of-world self, this raises a LOT of questions, don't you think? You know what I think would be very interesting? We know that Wagstaff went missing the day of the factory fire, but he didn't actually enter the Constant, did he? Otherwise he wouldn't have that flickery effect in the update (and in Hamlet Don't Starve). 

Plus, it's not even Wagstaff you're protecting from those bird creatures during the moon storm mini-game; you're protecting the object that he's building (I dunno any of the names of anything).

Oh oh, and also; isn't WX really fond of things related to the moon? Well, this entire thing that Wagstaff is a part of? It's all lunar themed. Coincidence? I think no--

On a tangential note, if Wagstaff isn't stuck in the Constant along with the rest of the survivors (as implied by his "out-of-world projection" in Hamlet), then we probably wonder, "Who did Winona see getting sucked into the portal in her animated short, then?"

I'm going to take a wild guess (hehe, theory incoming) and say it was WX-78. It's entirely possible that Wagstaff built them (bc wasn't WX built for exploration of the Constant? and a bunch of Wagstaff's quotes point to Wagstaff being WX's creator, unless Klei pulls a plot twist and turns out Wagstaff's "automaton" isn't even WX at all, which I doubt) and then turned on the portal to send WX-78 in. And what if Wagstaff had already known the factory would burn down when he did so, and had prepared some underground workshop thing where he would continue to work, clandestine, unknown to the world? Maybe when Wagstaff did so, WX-78's sentience made them reluctant to enter the portal to the Constant or something, and they tried to stop themselves from being sucked in. Maybe it was after Wagstaff disappeared into said "bunker" and WX-78 was already in the portal when Winona entered the workshop and tried to save the supposed "Wagstaff."

Ok, I know that's a big stretch, but my point is; if we get WX's refresh and their story of how they got into the Constant, we should get some sort of idea as to what the heck Wagstaff did.

I just really hope that if we do get a refresh for WX this year, then we better not get a Woodie situation, where literally no backstory is revealed.

I'm not too sure. But what I DON'T want to see is him crafting robot minions that do various tasks for him. Please do NOT do that.

In a WX rework, I'd love the robot to see its wetness weakness dialed up intensely, constituting a very real fatal risk and potentially an insta death at some level.
