Wendy C. Posted December 6, 2020 Share Posted December 6, 2020 On the public servers, I haven't seen a SINGLE other person get a "normal" drop since the event started. Since the event began, every single other person just gets Winter's Feast Chests and Elegants. Meanwhile, the last 6 drops I've gotten have been THIS garbage: It is absolutely no exaggeration when I say that the last 15 drops in a row that I saw people get on a Public Server were ALL Winter's Feast Chests. So what the Hell is going on? The event page said drop rates for Winter's Feast collection clothes and Elegants had gone way up. I haven't gotten a single one of those things. I haven't even gotten ONE chest yet. Either the drop rates haven't actually been improved at all, or the game is purposefully avoiding giving me anything worth the time of day. While the chances have indeed gone up, it is still possible that you don't get any in a freak probable nightmare. Sometimes the universe just decides to give you bad rolls after another, and it can't be helped. Though I wouldn't worry to much as there is still ~50 gifts left, so it is bound to happen eventually. (Aka not very good drops either, I would prefer your gloves and shoes honestly..) BUT the good news is you can take them all and trade them in at the trade inn for a guaranteed higher tier item drop there. Or unravel for spools And that’s what I plan to do with my 15+ Christmas icons I have no use for. Don't be comparing your life to these drops either, you're probably doing fine (Despite what you think) or are living a fairly decent life and you're taking it for granted or believing that your life sucks when it doesn't. You still have quite a bit of time. So you'll probably get something good out of it eventually. It just takes time. Mike23Ua Posted December 7, 2020 Share Posted December 7, 2020 Nah I meant you can trade in your common gloves and shoes for a better tier item in the trade inn- Just throw 9 items that can be thrown in over into it and your guaranteed something of at least one value higher- but during Winters Feast you have a higher chance to get better results. Now is the best time to trade in your 2000 billion brown loafer collection In addition you can unravel the things the inn won’t accept, it may not net you many points but they add up eventually.. and maybe you can weave yourself something nice. Klei gave me #MadMoxxiTopHat, Wendy Lureplant outfit, AND the WintersFeast Lantern, And they also made the Creepy Cauldron available for purchase this year, which after waiting 2 years trying to luck up on I’m beyond thrilled to finally own. This has been the best year ever in terms of skins for me <3 I couldn’t possibly ask for much more so I’m Okay with getting a bunch of Ornament filled WF chests.
