Any Easy Way to Deal with Lunar Spore?

Lunar spore makes me hard to chop lunar mushtrees. Is there a easy way to deal with them?

Probably not really helpful... But Ii just put armor on me if I want to chop them or kite spores. 

(I prefer do not chop these trees at all. I heard they don't regrow.)

Kiting them is actually a thing. As far as my experience goes, doing 4-5 chops at a time works well. I also believe they don't regrow, though.

Woodie can chop down a whole lunar mushroom tree without getting hit by the spores, if ofc, you use Lucy (you have to hold space and spam left click)

As other saids, you can kite the spore. If you stay close to them long enough, they'll reach the point of no return and will detonate after 1-2 seconds, which is enough time to get away from them.

And Lunar Mushtrees do regrow. Just not via desolation regrowth. As in, if you chop them all, no more will spawn, but if you leave some, they will eventually create offspring during Winter.

What about retrofitted worlds?

I have heard that regrowth doesn't on worlds retriffited. (that info was from the time when lunar island was introduced)
