If you've visited monkey queen, make a map scroll and go to pearl. Pass it to Wagstaff who will be at the crafting station located there. I think you can figure the rest out on your own, unless you wish to be spoiled.

Thank you. I honestly don't mind spoilers whatsoever,  so the more the merrier. My time for this game is limited. But at least I have an idea of where to start now.

Hey guys can explain how exactly I’m supposed to use Wortox’s Knabsack? It doesn’t seem to be consistent..

Is it supposed to take 5 swings or more to kill a single spider? I read the wiki.. it says it does more damage the more stuff that’s in my inventory.. but with a full inventory I’m better off using a Spear?

Am I not using this weapon right? Do I need to collect the items With the “grab” function of the Knabsack instead of just pick it up???

Does rolling back the server glitch out the damage of the Knabsack?

The Wiki says it’s capable of Darksword levels of damage, did they Nerf it???
For the love of god… what am I doing wrong?! 😕

This has got to be the most "doesn't deserve a thread question" but does anyone know what update caused mighty Wolfgang's arms to clip through his backwards facing head sprite when chopping trees? The same thing doesn't happen in singleplayer and it looked so strange I noticed it.

The same one that broke the insanity idle probably

It increases damage based on amount of souls you have in inventory and soul jars. Plus you need to have the covetous collector skill for the dmg increase

The wandering trader sales gears??? Oh my god 🤦🏻‍♂️ I searched everywhere for gears in my world. 🤣

Yeah for three pig skin which is a cheap price for early game where you use it but it’s still useful

If a wendy is fighting on a beefalo with abigail, will the hex effect from abigail cause the beefalo to do the 1.4x damage increase that wendy gets or the 1.1x damage increase for things like other players?

Wendy gets a 1.54x bonus, but because of her downside it lowers to 1.15x. On a beefalo she gets the full 1.54x bonus. She's affected by both the 10% modifier and the 40% modifier.

Is there any creative way to heal while transformed as weremoose? If you die as the transformation you can revive in that form but the red amulet only brings you back with 50 health so...not great. Jelly beans seem to be the best way but once you're dead the effect is over right?

I’m not a WX78 main, but I do know they gain stats from eating Gears. And I was just curious if the Wandering Trader was now a guaranteed way of always obtaining gears (in the event all clockworks are dead in a world you join already)

I KNOW you can obtain them from spending hours opening tumbleweeds as they roll by in the desert, but that’s such a painfully slow process. The Trader seems to be much faster (if gears are always obtainable from him)

Not since the rework. It's just a food item now.

You can spawn clockworks using statues since the recent update.

So I killed the Nightmare Werepig for the first time in this world, waited for what felt like forever at the junkyard for Scrappy Werepig to appear, but no sign of him. Started to find that quite strange and went back into the caves, looking for the defeated Nightmare Werepig, only to find him chained up to the pillars again.

Did I miss something? Was it me standing too close to the Scrapyard that caused Scrappy to not spawn? Or do I need to do something else for Scrappy to show up?

@Ev1l Did you try rummaging in the junk pile a few times? (He's supposed to jump out of it after rummaging 3 times.)

What is the best weapon to use in the game???

I am currently looking at data from the In-Game Scrapbook (because the online wiki is hella darn confusing!) And I’m comparing the Damage Stats and the amount of uses that a tool has (as described in the in game scrapbook)

And going by this data the “Glass Cutter” ideals 68 damage, for 75 uses.

compared to “DarkSword” which is 68 Damage for 100 uses but also applies a 20.00 per minute sanity drain when held.

“BrightShade Sword” 38 damage (+30 planar???) for 200 uses.

and finally “BrightShade Hammer”: 32 Damage (+10 planar??) for 600 uses.

So I ask again, what weapon is the best to use??

Only other thing I can think of, was it an old world or a new one?

For pure damage I think it’s the shadow reaper + cowl or alternatively enlightened crown and Brightshade sword

if you want everything to not be a threat in the slightest use the shadow maul and enlightened crown

essentially just combine any weapon you want with the enlightened crown it is unfortunately the best thing in the game.
