Because they're Ruins exclusive and meant to be a bit harder than other nightmares.

The problem i see is that they teleport too far away from the player when being hit.  This not only makes the fight long but also removes part of the challenge they are suppose to bring by giving too much time to the player to recover or fight the other shadows

How do you deal with Mosquito ponds when you folks decide to base in the swamp?

Well if you want to flood your swamp with sacks a couple of mermhouses near the ponds do the trick, as long as there’s a king alive all merms are neutral to all players in the server.
Another alternative are either pigmen, bunnymen or if close to the edges, marotters. They all fight against mosquitos and leave the drops behind.

Hey, does anyone know what QoL update made turfs cheaper? It's for a personal project.

I can tell you how to get this information, but I will not get it for you because it requires going to the dreaded and forbidden website, Fandom, which pisses me off so I'm not going to do it. Go to the page for any turf that you're wondering about. Because this change was before the move to the wiki gg website, you have to do it on Fandom. Click the "view history" button. Find the edit that adjusted the recipe, it'll probably say in the description of the edit but if it doesn't you can just arbitrarily keep looking at revision histories until you find one with the old recipe and narrow it down from there.

This will probably give you an approximate date of when the change occurred, then you can use that approximate date to find what update it would have been. It also might not work depending on how they format the articles, but you could try.

I think i should've worded this better. I meant cheaper in the sense that you got four per craft instead just one. All turfs had the same crafting recipe IIRC, so using that method probably wouldn't do much.

It says that on the page for the crafting recipe.

So the basic sentinels as usual. I would play as Wilson ( I was not eager to use Bunnymans for those ponds)...but fortunately I gave up on that world. Weird generation for my base taste.

Thanks anyway.

SInce long pork aka human meat was gonna be introduced to the game would other mechanics would also be introduced?

Kuru
crockpot dishes
maybe a survivor whos favorite food is long pork which would be better at pvp

Think it would be cool if different characters drop differently like Webber dropping in long pick and monster for some me items that’s a combination of two or Wortox dropping regular meat and Wurt dropping frog legs and WX dropping frazzled wires or scrap for gears or something and wormwood dropping in living logs(and pedals went in bloom)

speaking of wormwood anyone else confused why they didn’t keep the original craft of the bramble husk from Pam or if they were going to change it to where it is now why not change the color of the spikes to black

What's a fast way to kill fused shadelings? They take quite some time to kill and it becomes annoying and overwhelming when rifts are at their peak and also with depths worms and earthquakes coming at me. It's making ne want to switch to lunar Walter

Tbh they are not that really important like the rift itself, try farm pure horror by killing ink blights, chest mimics, and maybe wait for Masked mobs despawn. I mean maybeee if you really need pure horror from them just try to kill them with brightshade sword while wearing brightshade helmet

I see. I also go for the Ink Blights and stray Masked monsters I see, but didn't know about the chests. I wish it was obtainable out of caves because I get so paranoid of running out of pure horror during the bad seasons that I want to fill an entire box of it when in summer, lol
