he77789
Is there a list of what tone does the hammer produce when hitting different objects?
Yoma_Nosme
Sorry, I don't understand your question completely...do you mean in-game or real life? There's no hammer in oni afaik... If you mean real life then try YouTube, construction sounds, hammer sounds, something like this...

I`ll try to point out objects that do more interesting sounds.

If the table is properly sorted by tones, it may be informative. A table like Objects that produce "Biiing" sound: Object 1: Hihgest tone Object 2: Slighly lower tone Object 3: Even lower tone ... Object N: Lowest tone already provides some userful info. You would still want to test different sounds to find out which ones you want to use, but you already know which objects to check and what to expect from them. pether
OK maybe thats because I'm really bad in music, but this wouldn't be usefull for me at all I am not aware of such list, you may search or do one by yourself using sandbox mode
Alexander Block
My measurement 1 piece of pipe - 258 Hz 2 - 258 (C4?) 3 - 246 (B3) 4 - 234 (A#3) 5 - 223 (A3) 6 - 211 (G#3) 7 - 199 (G3) 8 - 188 (F#3) 9 - 176 (F3) Afterwards my phone could not recognize the tones. I tried to do something, but I am not a musician, and it is very difficult for me to work with it. In addition, I am very busy at work now. Sasza22
So here you go: I made a list of sounds. Also realised that it could take the whole night doing that so i finished with the first 4 building tabs. Maybe i`ll make a full list eventually if i find more time. stoeberhai
I made a map specifically for this. You can use it if you like to. Hammer Park.sav Spoiler Some observations: material does not matter no difference if object is powered or opened electric wire and their subsequent heavy variant have the same sound electric wire bridge and rail bridge are silent all 2x1 doors are the same joint plates are the same automation wire and ribbon are the same several buildings have multiple sounds switch changes between on and off sound the length of wires, pipes etc. is measured by amount of connected blocks instead of farthest distance length 1 and length 2 are the same conveyor rail and automation wire have the same sound over any length

I think the intent is to allow you to add percussion to automation music. Or to make your base have audio cues to indicate what's happening. It actually is not meant to have any real purpose in terms of userful base functional. All it does is creating a sound when hitting things. It is added for making something creative with in-game tools just for fun.
