Something like this will provide both tons of clay and tons of oxygen for not near as much algae or water as one would think.

This is a pretty awesome method of generating a LOT of clay.  I've used methods similar to this in the past.  I've been thinking about using a Sweepy to gather up PO2 bottles from algae terrariums to a central location and seeing how that works.  Maybe that's what I'll do this afternoon.

Yes it is, but i use PW water from pockets directly - mop it up and create much clay without dupe interaction (filling sand / removing clay) - Timer door - once a day - second door, only way out - to prevent trapping of slow dwarflicants.

Here an easy example.
I build deodorizers below PW pockets, then i dig out pocket walls, layer by layer, to set not to much water free at once.
The small pool is to lower / raise liquid level in mopzone (pool overflow), or to reduce some, when it's to much (deconstruct a tile)
You can collect quick all PW water pockets with that and you have all of it in bottles (tons on every tile)
When you time decon/recon while dupes mopping, you can in very low amount of time mop full pocketsz.
A bit micro..
Edit: Buddy plants remove any germs in gas.

Offgassing - clay production is reduced by overpressure, a pump can help to prevent "eardrum popping" ^^

I'm using something like this.

Doors system above is just to vent O2 to space as I don't need more O2.

It's highly inspired by Yunru's MOGOMs. The mopping order to bottle up the pO2 should never disapear because of the constant drip.

My settings : upper atmo is above 1200g

Liquid sensor on the mopping tile is below 120kg

Atmo below mopping zone are below 1100g

Valve are 2500g/s

Filter gate is 6sec

Upper door is exit only

Works like a charm.

Yes it does, i used similar system in the past, but my mopping "tech" could mop 20 t of pw in the time, till your/such a system is built, i bet even much more(much much more). Also it gives me the feeling that having bottles at different spots, increases offgassing.
Nice old reservoir ^^

Yep, that's a good method.  I've done that as well.
