Bug Fixes:

  • Merm King will talk more about being hungry.
  • Merm King won’t spawn guards when fed. 
  • Fixed some Merm speech if they eat food off the ground
  • Fixed a crash when entering the Shop screen from the Collection screen when the Steam overlay is disabled.
  • Wurt’s stat syncing between caves and the surface is now percentage based rather than hard numbers
  • Wurt now has the proper skin set when respawning from a ghost
  • Merm Guards are immune to epic screeching (Not regular Merm, Guards have more grit)

Nah, he should be given halloween trinkets trade for candy, and chess figures trade, since those 2 things are sort of gamebreaking for a solo Wurt gameplay. The gold thing can remain as a penalty, it is fun to be gold starve and seek alternatives.

I think for most people the alternative (at least in the endgame) is going to be atrium portal into a new character to use the pig king.

It doesn't have to be very endgame anyway, I got the celestial portal somewhere by the second year. Also when you switch characters, besides the gold, it gives you a chance to add stuff you don't have to your gameplay, like Wigfrid's helmets for your army, or Wicker reading "on tentacles" to create multiple tentacles around toadstool, and since toadstooll kills them instantly, you can multiply the spots that way.

Just tested these 3 things and they work great, the merms also behave a lot better in chaotic battles like bee queen. THANK YOU!

EDIT: This update glitched my game on steam and it said it was updating constantly but never doing anything, if anyone else experience this, try doing what worked for me which was uninstalling the game and reinstalling.

When we get along to webber's rework, can we see a similar buff to webber's spider warriors. Webber's spiders are bad at killing bosses unless you have a few spider hats because they lose aggro and friendship all the time.

On the topic of this, if Wurt is able to have their followers not attack Chester, can Webber have a temporary fix too?
