shadowDigga
Totally up for this. Pig skins stack to 40, which means you can craft a lot of those from a single stack, while you can only make 2 log suits from stack of logs. Great idea and awesome design! metallichydra
there's not many helmets in the game, but many body armors (not counting boss armor, because those are boss drops, which is quite hard to obtain. also not counting character-specific armos, because those are … character specific armors): helmets: football helmet shelmet thulecite crown beekeeper hat the easiest to craft helmet is the football helmet. the shelmet is kinda rare, and the thulecite crown is probably not something you use as everyday armor. the beekeeper hat is … only used against bees. so here the we have football helmet, which is early game helmet. and pretty much all game helmet, since shelmet and thulecite crowns are rare. and beekeeper hats is only used against bees. compare this to body armor: grass suit log suit night armor marble suit snurtle shell armor thulecite suit the body armor list is very different than the helmets list. here we have grass armor, which is early game armor, log suit which is mid game armor, and night / marble armor which is late-game armor. snurtle shell and thulecite suit are too rare for everyday use. of course, this is from my experience. Thieverpedia
This wouldn't be a bad idea, but doesn't one pigskin for a suit sound a little cheap? I'm all for more armor, but I'd love to work for it, personally.
