Hot Lava - Toy Shelf Items (Updated: 06/05/2021)

As with the Toy Shelf Items topic I made during Hot Lava Beta, this topic will document the cosmetic items in Hot Lava since its full release on September 19, 2019.

Unlike the Beta where items were randomly obtained from playsets, items are now earned for completing the star objectives of each map.  Under this new system, if you collect all the stars in the game, you will own all droppable cosmetics.  However, the order in which you receive items is still randomized.  As of the Lord Sludge & Poizone update, some cosmetics (including all Skins) are obtained by leveling up individual characters.

Items are split into 7 rarities:  (1) Common; (2) Collectable; (3) Uncirculated; (4) Mint; (5) Autographed; (6) Event; and (7) Reward.

Similar to most other items, Reward Stickers are randomly awarded for completing star objectives in trials.  As far as I can tell, the order in which they're granted is randomized.

Community Competitions were speedrun races organized by community members in the Official Hot Lava Discord and hosted on Dawnfinder's Twitch channel. Klei sponsored the tournaments by giving away an in-game autograph-rarity Crown and Klei game keys.  Two such tournaments were held during Beta and as such the item is only owned by two winners.

There was actually one earlier race that happened during Hot Lava Alpha / Pre-Beta (when keys were selectively given to certain CSGO kz players).  The winner of that race (Ricky) didn't get an in-game Crown, but the Top 6 finishers did get their names permanently added to a plaque inside a display case on the School map.

There are also 2 other autograph-rarity items (both Wrenches) related to Community contributions.  The first Wrench is given to map makers that get featured in Klei's Community Spotlight (announced in June 2018).  Nine maps (created by six different people) have been spotlighted thus far.

Today's patch added 2 new items.  The Holiday Hat (leftover from Christmas 2018) is now obtainable again, but had its rarity changed from Event to Autographed.

The reward rarity Sue's Ugly Xmas Sweater was permanently unlocked for collecting 60 Presents in the School and Wholesale maps during the 2018 Christmas event.  On the other hand, the event rarity Holiday Hat (from 2018 Christmas Event) was temporarily owned by everyone during the event.

EDIT (03/09/2020): Today's patch finally removed the two Collectible rarity items (one Back & one Trinket) that were in the game, but actually never dropped. 
 
Moreover, the 3 seasonal cosmetics related to 2019 Holiday Season are no longer obtainable for players that have yet to unlock them.

Today's Lord Sludge and Poizone update added a new cosmetic category (Skins), 54 new items (12 Skins, 3 Trinkets, 39 Stickers), and an XP system for leveling individual characters (each up to Level 45) to unlock certain cosmetics.  XP is gained for collecting checkpoints within the game.
