chasinji
i would like to challenge myself to exceed my limit about oni problem solving universe in this weekend. has anyone experienced or found any incredible difficulit map seeds that want to abandon the colony soon. especially on oassisse is preferred. Lilalaunekuh
Ok, as someone playing every seed with a "-0T1" [or call it maxed out difficulty^^]: OASIS-A-1042104625-0T1 [ https://toolsnotincluded.net/map-tools/map-browser/map/1166 ] Provides every (possible) resource except rust and pyrite in a renewable way. [You could argue there is no need for infinite rust/pyrite] Provides you with 34 oil reservoirs and 2 leaky oil fissures^^ The most notable feature of an oasisse map if beeing surrounded by hot sand. => So adding a ring of even hotter oil biomes around this makes for a very unique challenge. Spoiler I wouldn´t abondon such a seed, but it´s one of the harder oassis seeds.

Lilalaunekuh
I didn´t chose this map cause of "good" geyser ouputs, just for having most stuff to play/tinker with. Having infinite pyrite and rust doesn´t seem that imporant to me. =>The topographie of this map makes it "unique" or "fun to play". [If your like me better try it out before you spoil yourself the fun using the "map view" provided by the seed browser.]

Loscil2
Seed Browser from Cairath will give you exactly what you need. These seed(s) have Metal Poor and Geodormant traits plus does NOT have the following geysers: Cool Slush Geyser Polluted Water Vent Copper Volcano Gold Volcano Iron Volcano Water Geyser The rules string is: Quote eyJydWxlcyI6W3sidmFsdWUiOjAsImNvbXBhcmF0b3IiOiJFeGFjdGx5Iiwib2JqZWN0Ijoic2x1c2hfd2F0ZXIiLCJ0eXBlIjoiR2V5c2VyIiwiZ3JvdXBJZCI6MCwiaWQiOjB9LHsidmFsdWUiOjAsImNvbXBhcmF0b3IiOiJFeGFjdGx5Iiwib2JqZWN0IjoiZmlsdGh5X3dhdGVyIiwidHlwZSI6IkdleXNlciIsImdyb3VwSWQiOjEsImlkIjoxfSx7InZhbHVlIjowLCJjb21wYXJhdG9yIjoiRXhhY3RseSIsIm9iamVjdCI6Im1vbHRlbl9jb3BwZXIiLCJ0eXBlIjoiR2V5c2VyIiwiZ3JvdXBJZCI6MiwiaWQiOjJ9LHsidmFsdWUiOjAsImNvbXBhcmF0b3IiOiJFeGFjdGx5Iiwib2JqZWN0IjoibW9sdGVuX2dvbGQiLCJ0eXBlIjoiR2V5c2VyIiwiZ3JvdXBJZCI6MywiaWQiOjN9LHsidmFsdWUiOjAsImNvbXBhcmF0b3IiOiJFeGFjdGx5Iiwib2JqZWN0IjoibW9sdGVuX2lyb24iLCJ0eXBlIjoiR2V5c2VyIiwiZ3JvdXBJZCI6NCwiaWQiOjR9LHsidmFsdWUiOjAsImNvbXBhcmF0b3IiOiJFeGFjdGx5Iiwib2JqZWN0IjoiaG90X3dhdGVyIiwidHlwZSI6IkdleXNlciIsImdyb3VwSWQiOjUsImlkIjo1fV0sInRyYWl0c1RvRXhjbHVkZSI6W10sInRyYWl0c1RvSW5jbHVkZSI6WyJHZW9Eb3JtYW50IiwiTWV0YWxQb29yIl0sImNvb3JkaW5hdGVQcmVmaXgiOiJPQVNJUy1BIn0 Which you just paste into the seed browser. Nitroturtle
Before this thread, I had no idea the -XXX at the end of the coordinates were to signify the difficulty selections. Is there any way to see this in game once the map is created? It seems really strange to me, that once a map is created, there is no way to tell which asteroid type and difficulty was selected. Assuming you eventually dig out the entire map, it seems like they will all end up looking pretty much the same (except geysers obviously). I realize you can go in and see things like how much food a dupe eats per cycle, but it seems like the difficulty and asteroid selection should be shown somewhere on the colony summary. DemainaNyx
The second one on Oasisse I had had my base surrounded by volcanos. If I can find that seed when I get home I can post it but it was really difficult since any time my dupes went anywhere they started scalding and I couldn't get any dreckos or seeds for atmosuits. Eventually I got a lucky care package that helped but it was a struggle before that so it might be a good challenge seed.

The starter biome is small enough to spit across, with big spots of 75+C rock in the bits nearest the printing pod.
