Here is a question(and poll) that I have for you all, what enemies do you find the most fun and most challenging, also what kind of enemies would you consider the most challenging in general?

Do you think enemies that require tanking are the hardest? Do you think enemies with strict kite patterns are the hardest?

As for me, I've always prefered enemies be kitable, but make the kiting time tight(like krampus for example) and have never liked forced tanking enemies(like clockwork bishops), I also think that enemies in groups can be fun to sync together if attempting to kite.

Discuss.

In my case, because of a crappy internet connection and constant rubberbanding, the "kitable enemies with strict kiting timing" are a major problem. On pubs (well practically everything I'm not hosting) is impossible for me to kite Dragonfly for example - also when my ping goes over 150 + mentioned constant rubberbanding, even kiting spider warriors (sometimes even regular spiders) becomes an issue, more so as the pattern becomes inconsistent: at times I can land 5 hits before it attacks, other times 4; same with werepigs, occasionally I can land 1-2 hits, other times not even one hit before it attacks. Also, as a personal preference, am going with lag compensation on, 'cause otherwise I got the impression my keyboard goes bananas more so as "w" and "space" began to act up (old keyboard, need to get a new one, but this is neither here nor there).

If you don't like tanking enemies, play as Willow or have a Willow nearby: Her BERNIE! taunts any aggressive mob around him allowing you to tank multiple bishops one by one. And if his and your attacks are timed correctly, then you won't have to tank any damage at all.

Another way would be to pick Wortox and use the soul hop ability whenever the enemy strikes you.

I'm ok with enemies which need to be tanked, and with enough speed you'll be able to kite bishops too.

None of the enemies are fun.

You hit it x amount of times, hold a movement key in the opposite direction down for one second, then repeat. How exciting.

It's the same thing for multiple enemies. Spiders, hit once, run. Pretty much everything else, synchronize them and bait all their attacks, then do their normal kiting pattern.

Then there's enemies like Bee Queen who you can't kite, without a massive speedboost at least, or Fuelweaver where everyone just uses the border trick because literally no one likes the stunlock.

Hamlet's Large Iron Hulk, Pugalisk and Ancient Herald were the first times I've ever felt a fight was both fun and difficult, but not tedious. As for difficulty, enemies that can dish out the highest quantitiy of attacks in the shortest time are the hardest imo. Pig Guards, Krampii, Enraged Klaus... Although only difficulty isn't exactly fun. More stressful than anything.

That kinda feels the same as just saying "Pick wolfgang cause he kills enemies the fastest"

Bishops aren't hard, just boring to fight, I find alot more skill in actually having to dodge things rather then making 9000+ log suits/football helmets and pierogi and just tank and spanking everything.

You aren't forced to pick Wolfgang, you can also bring some of your piggy or bunny friends to defeat the enemy together.

Bishops are boring not because they "need" to be tanked, they're more like boring because they don't run away if you're too close, making it too easy to fight against them. In most cases there's also a rook nearby which could be used to kill the bishop.

A Walking Cane together with a Magiluminescense grants you +50% speed which allows you to kite bishops easily. If you don't like to loose health whenever you "need" to tank enemies, use a Snurtle Shell Armor.

And if you really take more than 3,543,750 damage whenever you tank anything, then you're just bad. Esp. because the updated characters have methods how to kill the enemies without tanking everything.

Oh sure just let me pick WX, get struck by lightning and run on the nearest road while I am at it.

The whole Tank vs Kite thing is also why I prefer bosses like Dragonfly or Klaus over bosses like Bee Queen, Dragonfly and Klaus are more about being quick on your feet whereas Bee Queen is just bring bunnymen/catapults/tentacles to do it for you while you bring tons of armor and healing.

Excuse my preference for being quick on my feet over sitting and eating damage, there is no need to judge someone based on their opinion...

Please let this discussion between us end.

But Dragonfly is also just bring your bunnymen, etc. I already made myself a farm to kill df easily or to farm scales easily. And as @x0VERSUS1y already said: Perfect kiting is only possible with a perfect connection.

I just wanted to tell you my opinion, but now I'm trying to explain you everything because you're still acting way too confused towards my opinion.

Stunlockable Enemies.

Who is it ? About whom it says here?

For the first section, shadow pieces past Level 1, they are near impossible to kite at level 2 and are staright up impossible to kite at level 3.

Stunlockable enemies are bees and normal spiders.

Um ... Road and Walking Cane will allow kite shadow chess 2 levels. With Magiluminescence, you can kite 3 level.
Bees? These defenseless creatures can stan? They can be killed without losing health simply by striking and retreating a step and no matter how many. Spiders? Just lure out of the cocoons one by one pack.

The worst kind of enemies are the ones that just enemy spam and force you to tank like beequeen. How is sitting in a single spot and holding f for ten minutes supposed to be fun?  Literally impossible to kill by yourself without cheese otherwise bees stunlock you
