Never watched through the first campaign though, but I'm still excited for the animated special. I've never played D&D myself, but I've been learning it. Mostly to figure out what elements I like for my own system, but also if I ever end up getting invited to a group—not that I will, but it's a skillset I'd like to have. I don't have enough time to listen to a podcast where each episode is longer than a Hollywood film, I'd rather experience it myself. I admit I'm like 15 episodes behind, but I was inspired to start playing because of Critical Role and Matt Colville. I've been the forever DM for over 3 years now for my group.
