UncleMikeE
What if the water froze during winter? It could start freezing during early Winter, become completely frozen by mid Winter, and then thaw out again for Spring. There would be the chance of getting stuck on the lunar island or worse in the middle of the ocean. It would also add the possibility of icebergs appearing further increasing the risk of sailing. If the ocean was frozen perhaps you could even walk on it. At a risk of course. They could introduce a thin ice mechanic. If you fall through death by drowning. FeagleSnorf
Salt water wouldn’t freeze that rapid but I do think icebergs would be neat
Mooagain
Ice bergs could be cool.

Rellimarual
They do a bit, next to the shore and places where there are bays and freshwater inlets. The bay where I live freezes over. But I get the impression the climate in the Constant is a lot more mild.

GenomeSquirrel
Keep in mind that for Summer to burn what it does, the temperatures would be 400 degrees F (200 C) Making the oceans freeze is much more realistic
