Speculations about the Lore

Hi,I am really interested in lore and i want to know your opinions and theories,new content is announced so i think it´s the right time to start. Im mainly interested in the Wortox theories and traveling between the worlds theories,but all other theories are welcome.

I think there will(should) be short videos, or anything really, before they revamp old characters/ release new ones. And that’s how we will learn about their backstory. I just want to know who Wx really is. Maybe Wigfrid too. Let’s not forget Wickerbottom. I WANT ALL THE LORE MY LORE-THIRSTY BODY CAN HANDLE. 

Also the “new land” could be on the same map but different island. It’s not reasonable for Klei to have different world that is on different server which requires more servers to run. As for the things that’s on this new land, I think they are heavily lore related and explains all the ancients and all that stuff. The game build up so much in that direction. It’s time to unravel and give us a good satisfying story.

I'd love the inn keeper to be Jack Carter and we could find out who his boss is. I don't think charlie is his boss but we'll eventually find out. He might not even be Jack Carter but another established male character that was mentioned before.

For whatever reason, I keep thinking of Mr. Witherstone (and the debt collector who mailed William) whenever the Inn Keeper mentions his boss. I personally prefer the Jack Carter theories, but I wouldn't mind Mr. Witherstone getting some love in some way.

Jack Carter & Wagstaff tend to be the one's in the spotlight.

As much as I love Wortox, I can't for the life of me come up with a solid idea as to why he's being thrown into the constant.

 

Maybe Wortox came from the Forge? (Possibly a previous champion!)

It's either that, or Wortox legit comes from h e c c, or possibly whichever world Krampus crawled out of.

Willow: burned down her orphanage, by honest accident or compulsion, thought everybody dead or dying and was struck with trauma, bad conscience and overwhelming regret to the point of insanity, while still not being able to help to think of the flames as pretty, wished for nothing more than to turn back time or to not exist anymore, and even though nobody was hurt, an improbable fact she never learned, she found herself a surreal proposition when a shadowy portal appeared amidst the fires, which she snuck into, leaving her mad existence behind for something unknown.

 

While usually avoiding these kind of speculations, this idea has been brooding in my mind since the early days of Don't Starve, so consider this disclosure a confession.
