Steam Awards - nominations

Recommended Posts

They could've easily went on today's standards by putting Reign of Giants and A New Reign as DLC's on DTS, and the Forge/Gorge events would've probably been accessible by some 10$ ticket you had to purchase on their store. They would've caught some flak for it, but they would've made a lot more profit than they do now.

But instead they released all that for free, not to mention all owners of Don't Starve received DTS for free after the beta ended. On top of that, i don't think they really have bad game under their belt.

So you know.. pretty easy pick for me.

EA - a company , ripping their games apart to sold actual base game content for almost double the price the original game ( costing over 400 euros ) , not to mention bad customer service and the pay to win loot boxes - Will make it to the awards...

Klei - a company , working their butt off to make new content while most of the content are free or cost under 50 euros ( both dst and ds with dlcs ) , has good customer service , ''loot boxes'' are only purely cosmetic , never did anything like EA... - Won't make it to the steam awards...

This is so sad. can we hit ea? :(

Yeah it sucks. But in the end, that's the great thing about Klei. They create to create. They show enthusiasm for their work, their games, and their community. They made something people play because they enjoy. Not a game people play because it's a big AAA title, and are just obliged to play and review despite the little effort put into it to just milk the series.
