Craigjw
I have hundreds of sacrificial tiles to prevent the degredation of my dupes asteroid from the meteor storms, I do not want my dupes to keep repairing the broken tiles, is there a way to mass select tiles to disable auto repair. I can't find a way to do this without selecting each of the 1000's of tiles and disabling it manually. I have been currently selecting the autorepair jobs subpriority and setting it to 1, but the number of tiles getting damaged is always increasing. mathmanican
Build a door leading to those tiles, and lock it to prevent access? If someone knows of a better answer, I'd love to know it too.
Craigjw
I'm doing this too, however, sometimes I want go into that area when I'm critically low on iron. Soon as I open the door, my dupes start supplying the tiles with materials and repairing them.
LordAizen
i just set my refined iron compactors at 7/8. That way dupes will fill it up before they start repairing tiles and you can just disable access afterwards. Alternatively you can lower the individual priority on broken tiles to something like 1. That way dupes will only mend them if they have nothign better to do. But you do have to keep lowering the priority as new tiles get broken, that is the only drawback with this approach. Craigjw
I was hoping that there was a control or button that I'd missed, oh well.
ChickenMadness
set them all to priority 1?
SackMaggie
Disable buildings , disinfects and auto repairs they need their own button (or key binding) and act like "Harvest (Y)" button.

Iriswaters
I think the only real solution is to lock the door, and when you open it, be sure to mass select everything to priority 1. Mass selection only works on tiles if they have taken damage, so you have to re-select every time you open the door, for the new ones that have been damaged by the meteors. fishpear
Agree. And I want mass disable auto disinfect as well
Steelflame
You can actually disable disinfect entirely in the germs tab, or change the threshold of germs to disinfect, ect. Really worth it to do so, and save yourself dupes wasting time cleaning up the slimelung that may get on ladders in the areas outside of your base. Iriswaters
No, I mean specifically doing it via -priority-, not just via 'disable auto-repair'. With a-r, you have to individually select each which is just tortuous(though only needs to be done once for what that's worth). With priority you -can- mass select, which makes it somewhat better. Priority 1 probably won't happen. I was just reminding them that you can't mass select base building tiles though unless they have -already- taken damage, as an undamaged tile won't be registered by the priority system at all.
