Hold
Somebody help me and some explanation might help I don't know why it doesn't work I think the 1000J of Transformer can cover Liquid Tepidizer (960W), because 960W is 960J/s as i know
Risu
Was it working before you added a transformer?
Vilda
Might be just wrong error msg, isn't tepidizer supposed to be on stable surface?

Most likely the tile he clicked last . have you tried adding batteries to your power grid 1 generator looks offline and the transformer only has a 1kw storage that the tepidizer would empty instantly looking at it again they appear to both be on
Vilda
Ehm, is the power line even built? It's running through natural tiles.

Lifegrow
Its debug power-routing without digging out the natural tiles first. Dig it out and it'll work. p.s. tepedizsers can be "floating" with no issues btw

Risu
Can confirm a transformer isn't enough to keep it powered. Add a battery after the transformer to act as a buffer. Then it can be powered.

I think the 1000J of Transformer can cover Liquid Tepidizer (960W), because 960W is 960J/s as i know And similar example, if you are right, you can see the similar example right below this also shouldn't be worked by the way refrigerator 8 ( which is 120 x 8 = 960 w ) transformer can cover these eight refrigerator like this
Risu
The transformer recharges the next tick after the tepidizer consumes its power. During that tick the tepidizer sees that the circuit only has 40W available so it shuts off. So it can possibly toggle on and off every tick. By adding a battery there is a drain of power during the tick that the tepidizer is off. The tepidizer can then take the power from the battery and transformer and remain powered. But how about refrigerator? I just want to figure it out.. besides, about the "During that tick the tepidizer sees that the circuit only has 40W available so it shuts off." It seems that it doesn't work like that way I just want to figure The Electronic System out ( - Not just using a battery! ) So i tested with two transformer As you mentioned then During that tick, the circuit has 1040W available right?? But it still doesn't work
Hold
but interesting result of parallel circuit this picture I reconnected with two transformer as parallel, then it works now. it shows current whole consumption wattage is 1.2Kw but liquid tepidizer might be work as different way? I think tepidizer isn't 960W And also looking at Circuit Status , it is overloading!!, because Power Line is Yellow.
Lifegrow
You're reading it wrong - the 1.2kw is the power generation possible by 2 x 600w Coal Gens. You're using 0 of 1.2kw. As mentioned already, 1000j is indeed 1000w/1s - but maybe the logic that risu explained could be tested by putting a battery down and seeing if it's being charged by 40w/s whilst the tepidizer is running ? I'm still learning the "quirks" of these new wires myself properly
Risu
It's working now because you added a new battery. A buffer to give it more than 960W available while recharging.
Risu
Did some tests. Here is the transformer modified to have 250J capacity. It can't run a 240W pump. Here is the transformer modified to have 1920J capacity. It can run 2 tepidizers. So the verdict is: You need double the watts required to be available to start a machine. Risu
Oh and if you drop it down to 1900J it struggles to maintain power for 1 tepidizer. Randomly dropping and coming back.
IPRIT
Same problem. Also if I connect it with a Heavy wire, wire sometimes breaks. Maybe it consumes more energy than the tooltip says.

Randomly dropping and coming back. Excellent Explanation Very Thanks I fully understood! But there is some curiosity about 8 refrigerator i mentioned above refrigerator isn't 960W? ( which tepidizer consumes ) As you mentioned, no matter how many refrigerator it is, the refrigerator is just 120W and need transformer of 240J or higher capacity to operate. right? there is some suspicious(?) things what I want to know more But Okay that's fine that is partly make sense
