Mr.mu
Can someone tell me why the wire in the left can't connect withe the wire in the right? May be the wire bridge has a bug?
cptCalavera
I see there is a pipe behind it. Maybe thats causing it not to work?

cptCalavera
Hmm, then I don't know. Have you tried rotating it with O? Only other thing I can think of.

Thanks anyway~ you remove the pipe and you place the bridge pipe, the place the pipe back, it works for me, if its not for you, then it might be a bug

Because the "wire bridge" can be run through wall and floor tiles just like wire. So it should can run through ladder. See the picture
kambing
you have to connect the wire after you place the bridge

kambing
I think the order of the placement matters. if you put the wires in first, it won't work probably.
jjadziadax
I run wires and pipes right on top of each other, usually behind ladders and had no problems. Tried to use the water pipe bridge with a crossed pipes situation and couldn't work it out though.
qb.
@Mr.mu, did you find the solution for this problem? I seem to have the same issue... None of suggestions here worked. So no order of placement, no wrong type of bridge (please...), no rotation. I did not try pulling this of without walls nearby though. I'll try it now. update edit: It looks like wire bridge just doesn't work.
Targa_X
The wire and pipe bridges don't work the way you would expect them to. The bridge has to be the FIRST object built on a tile, not the last.
qb.
Above setup was built exactly as you say. So firstly bridge was construucted. Then wires. As you can see - also ain't working as you say. Might be a bug linked to game session itself. If you say that it is working for you and for some others isn't. Nothing else to do than launching new world. Sadly, cause this colony was awesome and healthy. edit: Bridges were working for me in previous games. Constructed with no particular order (wires first, bridges first). Im_ookii
Many people are confusing wire bridges with liquid and gas pipe bridges. Wire bridges are not working right now.

Sad news you say. There is also another hope with update which appeared like an hour ago though. edit: Nope. It still doesn't work.

Bradfordington
If you place the wire bridge and connect wires to it on both ends, after it is built you can draw a wire across it and it connects automatically without Dupes needing to build anything and without joining the crossed network. It's a strange way of doing it as it's not explained anywhere and I only found it as I was going to connect both networks together out of frustration lol. Hope this helps! Turns out it does just connect all the circuits, just not sure how it didn't have to get built...
qb.
It's a bug. It's reported already. It's pending.
