Character Personality Headcanons

You don't need the frock and the head equipped to see the portrait, only the head. This goes for all the GoH, Survivor and Triumphant sets.

I'm sorry. I just had to correct you. The impulse... it- it's too strong!

Heh.  I had the feeling I was probably off on that as I wrote it. Ah, well.  I've never had any of the head-skins, so...no direct experience with it.  :p

stuff

Why did it post twice...?

Well while I'm here..."WOLFGANG NEEDS NO PRINCE!  WOLFGANG CLIMBS DOWN _OWN_ HAIR!  DO NOT ASK WOLFGANG HOW THAT WORKS!"

...or why he's talking like that all of a sudden. : P

...Notorious

Headcanon you say?

In that case, WX-78 is scared to death of gnomes.

Affirmative. Very much so. Let's see some other trivia...

*

Wilson actually likely got a sack from some institution of learning when the top brass found out he didn't follow the ethical treatment of rats and crows, couldn't memorise scientific terms for the life of his ("It's all... pine-y...") and wasted some huge grant on something senseless.

*

Wilson has a very close relationship with his beard, including tearjerking farewell speeches when he finally shaves as summer hits.

*

Finally, Wilson snores. A lot. Ever wondered about the eerie sounds in the swamps? That's Wilson on the other side of the map.

*

Willow had a brief but full-of-impact episode with the Girl Scouts during her last years in the orphanage. The eldest orphans would start earning their keep babysitting rich kids during such events. It empowered her and she never looked back.

*

Willow has a great fondness of fireflies. Similarly, any magical effect related to fire or at least lightning fascinates her. She also enjoys koalefants due to their cuddliness.

...

Also, their wool (?) is flammable.

*

Willow enjoys creating armies of pigmen and calling them badass names. You know, like Kevin, Joe, Seth, Alex, Corey, Kelly, Philip, Mr. P, and my favourite, Cheeky Chris.

*

She considers Wilson useful due to the amount of beard hair she can get to create an army of Bernies.

*

Willow is besties with Woodie since she always respects Lucy and is a helper, torching any pesky treeguard.

*

She secretly wishes Webber had not been branded a monster since she feels for him.

*

She adores trolling Maxwell by giving him any of the winter hat designs.

*

Wickerbottom is the camp gran for everyone she comes across, doting on Willow, Wes and Wilson above all else. This status doesn't prevent her from enjoying a committed relationship with Wolfgang.

*

Wes actually rules the group. One Mime to Rule Them All. You've got to have charisma to be a mime artist.

*

Wolfgang is a fan of theatre and good food, something @isthisworkingnow can comment on. Also, best friends with Wes, way before the Maxwell stunt.

*

Wigfrid would be a raging feminist in our times. Instead, she acts her Valkyrie act throughout her new endless life.

*

Woodie is fond of fishing when there is no wood to be chopped since it's calming. Lucy disapproves.

*

Webber used to draw often to those he would (used to?) consider especially close. A full collection of every drawing of his still exists, although now, it has become painful.

*

WX fears three things: GLADoS, vegans and gnomes. While the first two can be battled, he reasons the last too cunning and devious.

*

He enjoys upgrades and frequently makes random popculture references based on his constantly-updated databanks. They may or not contain inane cat pictures.

*

He really considers himself a paternal figure to Webber, hence every action of the boy greatly affects him.

*

Lightning-based magic causes WX to emit sounds normally associated with PEGI-18.

*

Wendy would always look up to the slightly (born first) older Abigail, rejoicing in her cheerfulness and outgoing nature. With their mother gone soon and Jack Carter seriously neglecting his daughters emotionally, numbing himself with business, the two were inseparable, trying to look as alike as possible in spite of not being identical twins. Abby's death took a serious toll on Wendy, who usually does not listen to her sister telling her to move on.

*

Maxwell is a precious cupcake, the friend nobody likes. He refers to Wilson as "that hairy gremlin who makes his dinner". All this covers his guilt over what happened to Charlie out of his foolishness.

* * *

I may or not spam more stuff.

I believe that Wolfagang is actually very intelligent but just not good at  speaking English. This is shown by some of his quotes like: "I confuse... Is dragonfly, or dragon-fly?"

Of course he loves food- and even there is no basis or evidence for it I think he is good friends with Wes possibly meeting him in France (Wolfgang has a quote about frog legs being a delicacy where he comes from).

What I believe to be how Wolfgang got to where his is now below: (Mostly speculation and stuff I made up backed up with actual in-game quotes)

Spoiler

He was probably born in Russia or somewhere near there because upon examining the hammer he says it "Needs sickle" he also probably had a farming background implied by his quote referring to the pitchfork: "Reminds me of my childhood" he also joined the cavalry because when examining a domesticated beefalo he says something about it reminding him of being in the cavalry.

Now is the bit with little to no evidence and some pure speculation: I think he joined the cavalry in France where he met Wes at a theatre show and they became good friends he was also friends with Wickerbottom the brawn and brains trading card hints at this. I think he and Wes went on a trip after he left the cavalry, ran out of money and joined a circus as a strongman and a mime because they had no money left.

Here's just a little thread for anyone who wants to post anything about whoever and how you think they act!

...

That was a bit confusing. Basically, here you can just post things about how you'd sum-up character's personalities, or say how they'd react in certain situations. This can be as detailed or as bare-bones as you like- it can be about one character or many! Who cares?! Have fun!

Wilson: He's the guy that's into science and a bit of a nerd, but he can't really do experiments that well.  Other than that, he's pretty much the Average Joe, and one of the most normal characters in the game.

Willow: She's the girl that's a pyromaniac (duh).  She's also adventurous because her lighter allows her to go everywhere and be a bit of a nomad.  Willow is also a bit of a snob because she says some pretty mean and judgmental things about the things in the game: "Ick.  It's following me!"

Wendy: She's the weird girl that's into the occult and conspiracy theories.  She's also pessimistic and has a dark outlook on life.  Very spiritual and intuitive.  She also really likes her sister considering that she wants to bring her back from the dead.

Abigail: Protective of her sister and really attached to her.

Wolfgang: He's very simple and not very smart; he's actually stupid.  He's very arrogant and is the very definition of hypermasculinity.  Ironically, he's scared of monsters and the dark for all of his arrogance and need to fight.

Woodie: I don't really know much about him because I haven't played his character (so I haven't seen his quotes).  Though judging by his playing style, he's a very hard worker and is a blue collar worker.

Wickerbottom: A very smart character who knows a lot of stuff.  She generally doesn't sleep, and seems to be understanding of others.  She's a bit of a picky eater, considering that she really hates spoiled food.  Very resourceful and somewhat magical (her books can only be used by her).

WX-78: Very cold-hearted and matter of fact.  He has no compassion for people that are downtrodden and lays the blame to them messing up instead of something bad happening to them.  He's very smart and kind of speedy.

Webber: Very playful and always looking for a good time.  He tries to be friends with everyone and gets super sad when he learns that everyone doesn't like him.

Wes: Very shy guy who doesn't say much.  He doesn't have much of a talent, with the exception of making balloon animals and being a mime.

Wigfrid: Very aggressive woman who's also picky.  She's energetic and always down for a fight.

Maxwell/William: Very sneaky and a scammer.  He knows how to manipulate people and pull the strings.
