In your back pockets. Your inventory spaces are just your front pockets, back pockets are for pre-built.

They have spawn range restriction of ~6 per 20 walls, it was recently posted somewhere on forums. That thing exists for reason. If you wanna make badass farm, put some effort into it!

They are actually very easy to relocate, since they run away from players, just like koalefant.

I find volt goat, tree guards, and no-eye-deers are harder to relocate.

It will only spawn 6 of them. What you can do is, keep the 6 geckos, dont kill them, get 6 more turf to replace the transformed one, pen those gecko and grass farm in a surrounded walls.

Then your grass farm will not spawn anymore geckos.

But you have to be aware of the size of your grass farm. It should be within 20 walls (not sure how you define 20walls range, but i guess might be radius).

From my experience, I have 120++ condensed grass farm and it still only spawned 6 geckos.

If your grass farm is too big, then they might just spawn 2 stacks (12) and stop spawning.

Thanks, I got it, however, my grass farm is pretty small, not more than 5 x 5 units of grass, the fences are ready, now I'm waiting for the geckos to make your monument
