Don't Starve Quick Sketches :3

Hey there netizens :3

I had this great idea for a DS comic, but I'm not that great at art :/

SO I decided that I should practice and get feedback! (Hopefully this is a good idea... ;-; )

I will just start off by making some mugshot sketches of the characters, and maybe I will finish them in the future.

They will all start with this base:

(there will be 3 different colors in more complete sketches:

blue is the start base as above

red is for adding in the details

and purple is for the finished sketch)

Quick Wendy sketch before I go to bed :3

(The red is way more noticeable on Wendy because she is harder for me to draw lol x3

They look good so far. If I had started my How to Draw's, I could show you a possible easier way to do it.

The technique with the red, purple, and blues is how I used to do my ballpoint pen sessions. Looking forward to the comic once you feel more comfortable getting used to the characters.

Speaking of ballpoint pens, red and blue make great lineart while purple and blue make great shading colors. Especially if you crosshatch.

That looks pretty cool!

What I meant was traditional, but I like that! You didn't fail at all. It resembles a Hispanic velvet painting.

Its pretty good, considering how difficult Wendy is. The flower doesn't quite look petal-y, but that's gonna get better over time, just gotta practise and compare.

hey that;s good enough, you should practice so your drawings will improve slowly. a lil tip, for sketch you can use lighter color like pink, grey and other colors that close to white (but not too close), and black for lines so it won't really confusing.
