Showing weakness in her greatness' presence would be shameful. Unfortunately, it wasn't that simple. He had completed forgotten about his ten minute limit, and a sharp pain enveloped his chest. He temporarily lost his his footing, but quickly pulled himself up, smiling weakly. He then played it off as if he had simply tripped. There was still time before the poison would kill him. The ten minutes was just a buffer so it didn't tax his body. His little legs shaking in fear on the sink's slippery surface caused Noctimus to lose his balance and trip into the sink. Did Kate remember to turn off the water? Hey look! Looks like both Noctimus and Syndir suddenly trip while standing in one spot!
