Rtd Posted September 30, 2015 Share Posted September 30, 2015 My public server is running just fine atm, both overworld and caves on the same machine. But each time I try to switch my server to LAN mode only, Master/Slave connexion is lost.The only thing I'm doing is to add the -lan flag to each server command lines and set the offline_server value to true in each config file. I'm doing this because I want to still be able to play on my LAN even if I lose connexion to my FAI. What I'm doing wrong? Developer Ipsquiggle Posted September 30, 2015 Author Developer Share Posted September 30, 2015 Bugs: 1)Tentacle_pillar_hole is missing the string name and the character strings. 2)Nightmare creatures can't be targeted during taunt/retargeting if you are not insane. Comments: 1)Nightmare creatures aren't dropping nightmare fuel when despawning at the end of the cycle.Seems fair for the multiplayer setting, no more easy fuel. 2)Damaged rooks are trigger happy and will wreck most ancient pseudoscience stations and anything that looks funny in their way.I started with 4 complete ancient stations and 3 broken stations, now I only have 3 broken stations.Because there aren't rooks right next to the broken ones.Perhaps just leave the bishops and knights? 3)There's a small chance the ancient guardian won't find a place during worldgen, like the pig king.Should this be this way? Thanks for the reports and feedback! We'll fix those bugs. About the comments:1) Yep, this is how it was always supposed to be, it was just bugged before. (They will still drop fuel when killed.)2) They're definitely a bit crazy. I'm going to play with them a bit.3) Nope, just like the pigking, this is a problem, but just like the pigking, there isn't a good solution... Rapair a broken altar crash the game. Thanks! Will fix for next update. It might be the client that is bugged. I am only seeing like 17 out of 876 servers. Also having the same problem with our sever (linux debian) not showing up and everything was working fine before the update If you are on the caves branch, you will only see cavesbeta servers. I joined the server in summer, collected some resources and spelunk inside the cave to avoid overheating of summer. Then I got an invitation from my friend playing in default branch, so I disconnected and adjust version of game to default one, and played. After a good time I turned back to cavesbeta branch for continuing my play on that server, and found the admin had changed the season to autumn. So I connected, and go upward to the surface. Then I found all my revealed minimap has gone. Don't know whether it is come from branch-changing or server setting change by admin. One note more : I found that hounds wave was cancelled when I spelunk into the cave during their barking period and back to surface after about 1 day. Is it intended? - Oh I was in the marsh biome, so maybe spawned hounds has trapped with tentacles. But I can't hear any barking of emerging hounds too. So please check about this. Sindex Posted September 30, 2015 Share Posted September 30, 2015 If you are on the caves branch, you will only see cavesbeta servers. It was fixed last night actually after V2C posted it up. Whatever you guys did fixed the issue, so it works fine now. Both the server and me seeing through the client out servers that were not there before. On a unrelated note I need to change the parameters today for being our GSN steam group since someone came in and cleaned out our base. Should have actually done that in the first place. I did a regenerateworld on both the caves and the overworld when the 29th update came out, but I would have expected that to reset your character entirely. I do a season change as part of my overworld generation sequence. For the wilderness server I check that theres at least a pig king and either some gears or knights and set the season to autumn. I'm not sure if or how that relates to what you saw. But I figured I'd chime in.
