About Big Foot..

Probably just mindless superstition.

Bigfoot doesn't have any property of increasing rare drop chances and there's no way to tweak Krampus Sack's drop chance except for modding.

If someone can back this up with the programming for the Sack's drop rate, it'd be nice.

Increase... drop rate I assume you mean here? No, that's a lottery, plain and simple. Only way you're gonna get a 'better' drop rate is if you kill more of them more often (I always have his worldgen setting on at least "more" in any worlds I do to speed that up)

For starters, RoG doesn't change the basegame Krampus. He still has a 1% chance to drop the sack.

I didn't find anything regarding the lootdropper component in bigfoot.lua either.

What even is the bigfoot? I hear people talk about an old bell (usually moleworms are part of that discussion) and I have vague memories of when RoG was in beta of the bell and a huge foot. If someone cloud fill me in so I'm not such a noob anymore, that would be awesome :D

All the info you need is here

how do I get it though?

You have to kill Glommer to get Glommer Wings, then you can craft the Old Bell. You get the Old Bell blueprint by mining the Glommer statue.

Take care, killing Glommer is an automatic 50 naughtiness points, so Krampus will spawn. Multiple Krampus will spawn the later in the game you are.

What imsomony said, but there'a also info on the page.

The two ways to gain access to the crafting recipe is to locate and mine a Glommer's Statue, which will drop the Old Bell's Blueprint as loot, or the player can get the blueprint from a Tumbleweed. The player must then combine a Glommer's Wings and a Glommer's Flower. It is renewable, as the materials to craft it are available during each Full Moon

No.

If you pick up the flower then gloomer will follow you, that's it.And you may want to kill it indirectly since it will spawn krampus immediately(lure it to a hostile mob).

Okay...

I would love to get the sack so i'll just kill glommer myself (Its what WX would do anyways)
