Oh please, I just think that making it additional content would serve more the game than making it a standalone.

There was no such thing as drama-conspiracy-Klei sellout-overthrow them, there was just some expectation which was finally not fulfilled.

Of course money is at stake, Klei is a company, they make profit, and pointing it as the probable and main reason of Shipwrecked being a standalone doesn't make us some whiny-conspirationist-anticapitalism-dramaqueens.

If they would have followed their plans without taking care of any of the bad feedback, yes I would have seen it as disrespectful.

They did take notice of it, because they still listen to their community and probably try to do their best (but still as part of a company).

Under any circumstances my intention was to be disrespectful towards them or to crucify them.

But they're no gooroos, being all "luv u Klei u da best instabuy !!!" won't help much, and I think they had to know that a part of the community feel offended that they could have thought their decision was the best for the player.

Moreover I think most of the complainers tried to bring ways and suggestions to work it out and to find a compromise, so I find it a bit insulting to say it was all flaming and whining.

I am an idiot. Disregard this.

I dont know why you insist on ferreting out every inch of my posts looking for grammatical errors in the way i am presenting information to you? Was my statement illogical, or did you understand what I was saying. Your post ended by telling people to lighten up (I am paraphrasing). My statement was guided towards the fact that your recognize people are angry/mad/upset/dissapointed/whatever that Shipwrecked is a standalone. When I made the statement I was reminding you I was not alone in my opinion of the game (IN THAT I WAS DISAPPOINTED), regardless of the reasoning of why it is a standalone.

I get that you dont think money was involved in any way and who knows it might not have been i am not acting like it was, im just saying that it is likely (as in its possible, there is a chance, businesses do need money to operate). Im not sure how that qualifies as a conspiracy but the people claiming that everything is a conspiracy are just as ignorant as those who believe in them, actual conspiracies mind you. In any case lets say I concede the fact that money has any part in the way Klei and any traditional business operates and assume that they are putting out the game entirely free of charge. Poeple would still be upset that it is a standalone game, granted it would be a lot easier to handle because its free afterall. That is my main point.

And questioning my background, like its that unimaginable that kids these days go to fancy book learning places called colleges where they might attain a bachelor of arts in economics, as well as pointing at grammarical and spelling errors does not have anything to do with disproving my point. i say point because i dont even know what we are arguing about anymore. For the past couple of my posts I am letting you know that people are disappointed. If you would like to argue that point with me be my guest but please start private messaging instead because id rather not derail this post any further than it already has been. if instead you would like to argue with someone else you have a wide variety of people to choose from.

The only reason your background was questioned was because you felt some need to bring it up here, as if it gave your argument some kind of extra power over the internet.

As I told you already, the ball is in your court, if you want to call me out on something, by all means have at it. What you did however, was go into semantics, taking a closing statement I made, way too literally at that, and then tried to discern meaning that was not there.

If you have something else to say, say it.

Oh please, I just think that making it additional content would serve more the game than making it a standalone.

Who is this even directed at? I get the feeling it's directed at me, but I didn't say 'flaming' or 'whining' anywhere, nor did I go even remotely as extreme with the words you are so carelessly throwing about here.
