Krampus is a creature, not a name!

Well, a Krampus is this Goose, satyr, demon thing that was a folk legend in the Alpine mountain regions. He would eat kids that misbehaved or lacked holiday spirit. Krampus would accompany Saint Nicholas on his Christmas runs and stuffed kids into his sack to devour for a Christmas dinner.

HENCE why you can be attacked by multiple krampii as you survive into later day counts; 100+ days can see 2-3 krampii at a time.

I'm not saying that. I had just not heard of Krampus before the game, and assumed that it was just something Edmund came up with.
